Development
Star Wars Dawn of Rebellion The Visual Guide was officially announced on March 9, 2023.[5] On April 12, co-author Pablo Hidalgo confirmed that the first draft for the book was just completed.[6]
Continuity
According to Dawn of Rebellion, Alexsandr Kallus' squad was lost in 7 BBY.[2] However, the earlier 2023 reference book Star Wars: Timelines had dated the attack to 18 BBY and placed another Kallus appearance, his mission for the Empire in "Flight of the Falcon, Part 1: Spy Games" around 10 BBY.[7] The 2019 reference book Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition[8] and its 2024 update Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy list Kallus's mission to Onderon as his first mission for the Empire.[9] Given the Timelines date for "Spy Games"[7] and the fact that the Onderon attack must be Kallus's first mission,[9] there is no way the attack can occur in 7 BBY.
