Sipo was a location in the galaxy.^[2] During his turbulent childhood on the planet Ferrix after his adoption from his homeworld Kenari,^[3] Cassian Andor spent three years in a youth center^[2] for juvenile criminals^[3] at Sipo, beginning at the age of thirteen. It was there that he learned about the prison tattoos, including Krayt Head and By The Hand tattoos.^[2] Andor's time at the Sipo center was just part of the great deal of time he spent in juvenile detention centers during his upbringing.^[3] In 5 BBY,^[4] the adult Andor—who was working as a mercenary in the Aldhani rebel infiltration team under the name Clem—told fellow rebel Arvel Skeen that he had spent time in the Sipo center, which gave him the experience needed to recognize Skeen's Krayt Head and By the Hand tattoos.^[2]
