In 3 BBY,[2] Princess Leia Organa went on a humanitarian aid mission to Wobani[3] as part of her Day of Demand challenges. At the time, most of the planet Wobani's residents were starving and badly in need of food and medicial supplies. Using a loophole in Imperial protocol, she managed to take some Wobani citizens with her back to her homeworld Alderaan.[1]

However, this caused the negotiations Organa's father, Bail Organa, along with Mon Mothma and his other senatorial allies were having for the relocation of the Wobani population to be halted and likely ended permanently. Organa was informed of this by her mother Queen Breha Organa upon her return horifying Organa and causing her to dedicate herself to the welfare of the Wobani citizens she had managed to rescue.[1]
