- "You'll never meet a more dishonest bunch of reprobates."
- ―CR-8R, on Jablogians
Jablogians were a sentient species native to the planet of Nar Kanji. They were noted for their overweight torsos, blemished red skin, pointed ears and beady eyes.[3] Azmorigan,[4] Drahric[5] and Nazgorigan were members of that species. The species shared its name with[3] the language of the same name, which was spoken by[6] the human Tasu Leech.[7]
Biology and appearance
- "Observe the blemished red skin, the beady yellow eyes and the unsightly rolls."
"You might also want to observe the pointed ears that can hear every word that rust-bucket of yours is saying!" - ―CR-8R and Nazgorigan
Jablogians had deep red skin and green eyes. They also had large heads and short limbs in proportion to their bodies. They had pointy ears, four fingers on each hand, and a big chin with a throat pouch.[3]
Behind the scenes
An early sketch of Jabba the Hutt that inspired the look for the Jablogian species
Jablogians' appearance is based on the early concept art for Jabba the Hutt, developed during pre-production for Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi,[8] as is also the case for Dyslogia Twang from the Star Wars Legends book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas.[9]
