Lorrdians were a sentient bipedal species that gave off a distinctive natural scent and had a very expressive body language. Lorrdian members of the Brotherhood of the Beatific Countenance wore concealing robes that acted as a physical vow of silence.[1]
Rabé, a handmaiden of Queen Padmé Amidala, was considered an expert in reading body language thanks to training from Lorrdians.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Lorrd system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Lorrdian species.
