An individual serving as an officer of the Milvayne Authority—a law enforcement agency[1] based out of the planet Milvayne[2] in the Inner Rim Territories[3]—was knocked out by the human Javroth Meers, who had been arrested for assault. Meers stole their uniform and escaped and was wearing the armor as a badge of rebellion while serving with the resistance fighter Saw Gerrera's partisans[1] by 1 BBY.[4]
Behind the scenes
The officer was mentioned in the 2023 reference book Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide,[1] within a section written by Pablo Hidalgo.[5] On Bluesky, Hidalgo indicated that the singular their usage in Dawn of Rebellion had not been intended to refer to the character's pronouns or gender but stated that he welcomed a future creator to define the thread further in the future.[6]

Or whether just said more for vagueness")
