Aldhani Garrison

The Aldhani Garrison was an Imperial garrison that consisted of a 40-member regiment on the headquarters on the planet Aldhani.^[1] If necessary, forces from the Alkenzi Air Base could be deployed to help those of the garrison.^[2]

Description

The Aldhani Garrison was a garrison of the armed forces of the Galactic Empire that were stationed on Aldhani to reinforce the Empire's presence on the planet. The garrison was headquartered at the Aldhani dam with a secondary base being Alkenzi Air Base located 52 kilometers from the dam. The garrison's personnel was a 40-man regiment that consisted primarily of Imperial Army troopers who were supervised by Imperial officers, though a detachment of stormtroopers was present at Alkenzi Air Base where they guarded the facility.^[1] The garrison was commanded by Commandant Jayhold Beehaz who resided in his personal living quarters at the dam along with his family.^[2] Other notable officers included Corporal Kimzi who oversaw communications ^[3] and Lieutenant Gorn who served under Commandant Beehaz, but had secretly defected and served as a double agent working for a rebel group that sought to rob the facility of its vast amount of credits that were housed in a vault within the dam.^[1]

The regiment was divided into at least four squads located at the dam along with a unit that guarded the Low Road leading to the sacred temple of Nasma Brani that was located outside of the dam and was lead by a corporal.^[2] The garrison utilized 74-Z speeder bikes and at least one Max-7 Rono box freighter at the Aldhani dam with the latter being positioned inside the dam in the same room where the credit vault was located.^[1] At Alkenzi, the facility housed several starships including TIE/ln space superiority starfighters and at least one Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. The starfighters were piloted by Imperial Starfighter Pilots and were lead by Alkenzi Air Command^[2]
