Investigations

Investigations was a branch of the Galactic Empire's Imperial Security Bureau responsible for using data to suppress rebel activity. Agent Kallus worked in the Investigations, Internal Affairs,^[4] and Enforcement^[5] branches of the ISB.^[4] Dedra Meero transferred from Enforcement to Investigations,^[6] where she served as an ISB Supervisor on the ISB Board.^[2]

Behind the scenes

Investigations was first mentioned in canon in Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know.^[4] It made its first appearance in the Star Wars: Andor episode "Aldhani,"^[2] but the ISB branch seen was not confirmed to be Investigations until the release of Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, which confirmed Meero had transferred into Investigations after her time in Enforcement:^[6] in "Aldhani," it is noted Meero served with Enforcement before transferring into her current branch,^[2] thereby confirming the branch is Investigations when Dawn of Rebellion is taken into account.^[6]
