Gloves were articles of clothing worn over the hands. They were often used as protection, especially against weather, or to conceal fingerprints.[2] Specialized types of gloves existed, such as magna-gloves, which could magnetically adhere to metals.[3] Some work gloves had electrosensitive fingertips that permitted touch-screen access.[4] The culture of the planet Kreeling considered the wearing of gloves in polite company to be incredibly rude.[5] Karr Nuq Sin often wore gloves to prevent his psychometry power from activating when he did not want it to.[6]
