Blue Leader, also known as Blue One was the callsign used by the leader of various units called Blue Squadron.
History
Galactic Republic
During the Clone Wars, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano used this callsign in both the Battle of Ryloth[1] and Battle of Mon Cala.[7]
Rebel Alliance
During the Galactic Civil War, General Antoc Merrick flew as Blue Leader in the battle of Scarif but was killed.[6]
Later, one pilot flying under this callsign was killed by Darth Vader during the battle of Vrogas Vas.[2]
New Republic
During the Battle of Jakku, the leader of 77 Squadron (which flew as Blue Squadron in that battle) flew under the callsign.[3]
Resistance
During the Battle of Starkiller Base, the Resistance pilot Captain Temmin Wexley flew as Blue One.[4]
During the evacuation of D'Qar, Tallissan Lintra served as Blue Leader.[8]
During the Mission to Batuu, a male individual using the callsign of Blue Leader communicated with the Resistance operatives on the planet to confirm that the Datacard they had sought had been retrieved and was en route to General Organa as planned. The individual then thanked Vi Moradi for her efforts.[9]
