The Aldera spaceport was the central public spaceflight facility located in Aldera, the capital city of Alderaan.[2] It was considered one of the best starports in the Core Worlds.[3]
In 9 BBY,[4] the Royal Family of Alderaan greeted Queen Breha Organa's sister Duchess Celly Organa and her family at the spaceport upon their arrival.[5] Later the family greeted Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi at the spaceport who returned Princess Leia Organa's toy droid Lola to her.[6]
In 3 BBY,[7] Leia traveled through the spaceport to get to the Tantive IV in order for to carry out a her humanitarian mission to the Mid Rim planet Wobani to deliver food rations to refugees on the planet as part of her Challenge of the Heart.[2]
