Free Trade sector

The Free Trade sector,^[4] also known as the Morlana sector,^[7] Preox-Morlana Corporate Sector,^[10] or the Morlana One Sector,^[11] itself a subsector of the Xappyh sector^[3] of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, was a region of space under the control of Preox-Morlana. It contained the Morlani system, which was itself home to the desert world of Ferrix.^[4] The Galactic Empire used the ambush on Ferrix as a justification to take control of Preox's Morlana's territory.^[7] After initially falling as part of Lieutenant Blevin's territory, the sector was placed under Lieutenant Dedra Meero's supervision by Major Lio Partagaz as a reward for her due diligence and its importance to her investigation into the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire.^[8]
