Commando

A commando was an elite soldier who specialized in environments or situations that were beyond the capacity of normal infantry men.^[1] Examples included the Galactic Senate's Senate Commandos,^[2] the Grand Army of the Republic's clone commandos,^[3] and Maul's Mandalorian super commandos.^[4] The Separatist Droid Army fielded BX-series droid commandos to serve as commando-level battle droids,^[3] with the Techno Union's Skakoan commandos also serving the Separatist cause.^[5] During the Galactic Empire's reign, death troopers served as special-assignment commandos.^[6] Uingali foar Marocsaa and his Paccian Governance had a unit of Paccian commandos that he used to board the Hammer and kill Colonel Tildnis.^[7] Commandos who served the Crimson Dawn syndicate wore red robes and were active during Lady Qi'ra's time as syndicate leader.^[8] The criminal organization Haxion Brood also employed commandos as muscle.^[9]
