Timm Karlo was a human male who worked at Caleen Salyard on Ferrix with his eventual lover Bix Caleen.^[4] Jealous^[5] and drinking, Karlo reported the wanted Cassian Jeron Andor, the ex-boyfriend of Caleen, to Preox-Morlana. Having seen them talking together,^[6] Karlo was upset but also thought he was protecting Caleen.^[5] He was shot and killed by Preox-Morlana officers after attempting to help Caleen, who had been detained by them after trying to get closer.^[3] By the time Andor returned to Ferrix after the Aldhani heist, it was common knowledge that he was the one who had reported Andor.^[6]

Biography

Drunken jealousy

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the successor state of the Galactic Republic, the male human Timm Karlo resided on the planet Ferrix, where he worked at Caleen Salyard with his lover Bix Caleen. In 5 BBY, Cassian Andor, a former lover of Caleen, arrived at the salvage yard bruised and beaten. Unbeknownst to Karlo, Andor had returned from the the planet Morlana One the previous night, where he had killed two Preox-Morlana Sentry Corporals—Verlo Skiff and Kravas Drezzer. Additionally, Andor was in possession of an Imperial N-S9 Starpath Unit, which he planned to sell by way of Caleen's black market connections.^[7]

Increasingly suspicious of his intentions, Karlo confronted Andor, believing him to have upset Caleen. Soon after, Bix began to embark on "errands", which were communications with her black market contact, Luthen Rael. At first, Karlo was evaded when he tried to trail her through town. The next day, Ferrix channels were flooded by a bulletin from the Pre-Mor Authority seeking a Kenari male resident for questioning. Having read the report, Caleen quickly closed the screen as she was interrupted by Karlo, who invited her out for a meal. She promised to share it with him the following day, before exiting the salvage yard. Karlo headed over to the screen and read the notice from Pre-Mor. Having been told of Andor's origins by Caleen sometime prior, Karlo immediately recognised him as the suspect. Come nightfall, after taking a swig from his flask, Karlo approached a comm terminal to send a tip to Pre-Mor that Andor was the one they're looking for.^[8]

Timm Karlo was a human male with medium brown hair, blue eyes, and light skin.^[3] Karlo had a habit for drinking and made rash, near-sighted decisions out of jealousy and insecurity. Despite that, he cared for his girlfriend and had little concern for his own safety when he confronted armed Preox-Morlana security officers arresting her.^[3]
