Unit Five-Two-D was a prison labor subunit of the Narkina 5 Imperial Prison Complex.[1] In 5 BBY,[3] it was led by floor manager Kino Loy. The five in the unit name represented the level, two represented the room, and the "D" represented the day-shift. The complex had seven levels, seven rooms, seven tables, and seven men per table, along with a separate night-shift unit, meaning that the unit consisted of 50 men including Loy.[4] The prisoners in Unit Five-Two-D included Cassian Andor, Ham, Jemboc, Ruescott Melshi, Taga, Ulaf, Xaul (all at Table Five), Veemoss at table three, and Birnok[1] at table two.[5]
