- "I was not born on Mandalore."
- ―Din Djarin, explaining he is from Aq Vetina
Aq Vetina[7] was a planet[8] inhabited by a number of humans. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems attacked a settlement on the planet, killing the population. The Mandalorians of Death Watch intervened in the attack, fighting back against the Separatist droid forces.[6] Aq Vetina was the homeworld of[8] the young human Din Djarin, who was rescued from the attack by a Mandalorian warrior and raised as a foundling in the Mandalorian Creed.[6]

Aq Vetina first appeared is in a flashback in episode of the television series Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which was titled "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian"[9] and aired on November 12, 2019.[10]
