CryonCorp was a company that manufactured various weapon attachments. During the Galactic Civil War, available CryonCorp products included the "Heads-Up" Scanner Suite and PL-1 "Second Sight" Scope, both models of weapon attachment,[1] as well as the SE-90 Structural Engineering Scanner, EnhanceScan general purpose scanner,[3] EnhanceScan 3.1 portable scanners.[2]
Behind the scenes
CryonCorp was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2016 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement Special Modifications, which was published by Fantasy Flight Games.[1] The company originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Cracken's Rebel Field Guide: Scanners, an article published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 4 in 1994.[4]
