Kinpany Gap was an area near the equator of Lothal.[2] Once the Galactic Empire arrived on the planet, they began heavy mining in this area[1] and established a settlement for the workers.[2] Zare Leonis and his friends Beck Ollet and Merei Spanjaf once met a man who had grown up in Kinpany Gap and later got a job guarding the orchards where Ollet had grown up while droid pickers did their work.[1]
