Borstel Galactic Defense,[2] also known simply as Borstel,[1] was a company who produced the NNJ-40 "Thunderbolt" long-range ion cannon used on RX-200 Falchion-class assault tanks of the Galactic Republic[2] and also produced the NK-7 ion cannons used in the armaments of the Galactic Empire's Imperial I-class Star Destroyers.[1] They also made the RG-9 laser cannons on the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor.[3]
