Ingo was a terrestrial astronomical object[3] located in the Ingo system in the Bortele sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice,[2] falling within grid square R-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, riots occurred on Ingo in protest of Imperial sanctions. The human Miam Lymontra had a bounty placed on her for her part in the riots.[3] The thrill-seeking Alliance Special Forces commando Corporal Eskro Casrich sand-sailed the dunes of Ingo[4] at some point prior to his death in 1 BBY.[5]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Ingo was first mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[4] The world originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in "The White Witch,"[6] the first episode of the television series Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO, which aired on September 7, 1985.[7]
