A Phase III clone trooper design for clone trooper armor was considered at one point during the Clone Wars, but ultimately canceled. With the rise of the Galactic Empire, however, the Phase III helmet was repurposed for the armor of the TK stormtroopers, the first generation of recruited troopers from Project War-Mantle.[1]
