The Shadowlands, designated as Sector 7 by the Galactic Empire,[2] were dark forests on the planet Kashyyyk.[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Kashyyyk resistance hid in the Shadowlands.[2]

In 14 BBY, Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis visited the Shadowlands in order to find the Kashyyyk resistance leader Tarfful so he could help Cal on his journey.[2]
