Tuggles were a type of creature with fur. The smuggler Rafa Martez wore a black faux-tuggle fur coat[1] while living on the planet Coruscant[2] in 19 BBY.[3]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, tuggles were mentioned in the 2023 reference book Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and Emily Shkoukani.[1] The creatures originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they were first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, a 1989 supplement for the West End Games Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Troy Denning.[4]
