Hyperspectral imaging

Hyperspectral imaging (abbreviated to HSI) was a technique used by the Galactic Empire's IGV-55 surveillance vessels' primary sensor array. IGV-55s housed their HSI receivers within large a large sensor dish which allowed them to spin very fast, creating high-resolution images.[1]
