Rochiawood was a type of wood. The BE-29 blaster rifle had a shoulder stock made of brown, petrified rochiawood. The moisture farmer Owen Lars made use of such a rifle on the planet Tatooine[1] in 9 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes
Rochiawood appeared in "Part VI,"[3] the final episode of the Disney+ television series Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, which was released on June 22, 2022.[4] The wood was then identified in the 2023 reference book Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and Emily Shkoukani.[1]
