Final Order
- "The Saga of Rey" (page 69)— The Sith Eternal was a secret cult of followers of the Dark Side, and then became a military organization devoted to rebuilding the Galactic Empire and the Old Sith Order. During the New Republic, its members settled on the planet Exegol, a former Sith stronghold located on the borders of the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. For decades, the Sith Eternal aided in the return of the resurrected Emperor by overseeing the search for a worthy heir to occupy the Sith throne and impose a new empire in the galaxy. They diverted First Order funds to create an even more powerful and sophisticated fleet and army constituting the Final Order. They also conditioned thousands of people to worship the dark side of the Force.
- Star Wars: Battles that Changed the Galaxy (page 201)— But neither the First Order nor the Resistance knew of Palpatine’s ultimate design: a new Sith empire, the Final Order, meant to sweep all pretenders aside once the former galactic ruler returned from death.
- The Star Wars Book—The First Order is just the primary step of his plan to return the galaxy to rule under the Sith Empire, also known as the Final Order.
- "The First Order"— Pryde knew that the Final Order, the new Empire, could scour the galaxy clean of any sign of rebellion.
- "The First Order"— When Ren returned from Exegol with news of the Sith Eternal, their fleet, and the host of additional resources that were offered, Engell immediately recognized the enourmous potential of an alliance with these mysterious benefactors. She welcomed the creation of the Final Order, and suggested that there should be an acceleration of the harvesting of children for the stormtrooper training program.
- "The First Order"— In the final months of the First Order, before they merged with the Sith Eternal and became the Final Order, a new generation of jet trooper had been developed.
- "The Final Order and the Battle of Exegol"— Palpatine’s first step would be to contact Allegiant General Pryde to inform him about Ren’s betrayal and to order him to add the forces of the First Order to his Sith fleet. After ordering the whole military structure of the First Order to be put under the direct command of the Emperor, Darth Sidious decided to begin the deployment of his Final Order, activating one of his new Star Destroyers to prove its destructive capacity to the whole galaxy.
- "The Final Order and the Battle of Exegol"— [paraphrasing] Pryde put all the military resources of the First Order at the service of Palpatine, who renamed it the Final Order.
Instances of First Galactic Empire
- Star Wars Helmet Collection 10— "... be reorganized into the first Galactic Empire was met with thunderous applause."
- Star Wars Helmet Collection 68— "The First Order did not enjoy the same access to the near-unlimited resources of the First Galactic Empire."
- The Star Wars Book
Imperial unknown unit counter
Thrawn novel/comic
- "Two squads of stormtroopers should be more than enough to handle one alien."— First pages of comic, early chapter of book
