- "Your mind is your greatest asset, both blade and shield against dark forces. The Force moves through your thoughts, and into your actions. Let it guide you now."
- ―Santari Khri
The Chamber of Fortitude was one of the centuries-old Jedi Meditation Chambers on the Outer Rim planet Koboh. The chamber was constructed during the High Republic Era as Jedi and Republic scientists researched Koboh's unique properties and the Koboh Abyss. Unlike many of the other chambers constructed under the leadership of Jedi Master Santari Khri, the Chamber of Fortitude did not overtly possess a challenge for Jedi. Instead, the chamber opened into a circular room, to which the shrine room was located straight ahead. At least two other rooms were inaccessible by 9 BBY[2] due to fallen debris. During the height of Jedi and Republic presence on Koboh, a Jedi Knight attending the chamber gave a tour of it to a Republic scientist, explaining how each chamber honed a different facet of their training. The tour allowed the Jedi and scientist to consider ways in which they could better help one another in their collaboration.[1]
By 9 BBY, the sealed turbolift to access the Chamber of Fortitude was found at the bottom of an abandoned silo. However, still functional was the recorded voice of Khri, welcoming arriving Jedi to the chamber, reminding them that their mind, aided by the Force, was their greatest asset against dark forces.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Chamber of Fortitude first appeared in the 2023 video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The chamber was an optional mission to investigate a rumor. Collectibles available in the chamber were two databank entries, a datadisc hidden within ceramic pottery, a two-tone metal paint material for BD-1, and the Persistence perk, which gave Cal back a small amount of Life meter fill for any enemy killed while in Slow mode.[1]
