The Urban Assault Triped Transport, or UA-TT, was a First Order walker used for pacification operations.

The UA-TT could deploy its CAP-5 captivator arm for stabilized firing. Such designs dated back to the Clone Wars-era AT-AP walkers used by the Galactic Republic. The limb could also be used to grab enemies hiding in buildings using its claws. In order to use heavy machinery in an urban area, the First Order deployed UA-TT walkers as opposed to the larger, heavier AT-M6 walkers. This was done so the city in question would not be destroyed during occupation.[1]

An UA-TT was deployed to Naboo, the homeworld of Emperor Sheev Palpatine, in 34 ABY during the Assault of Naboo.[3]

In 35 ABY, during the First Order-Resistance War, at least one was deployed on Kijimi.[4]

Behind the scenes

The UA-TT first appeared in the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.[4] The vehicle was first identified as Urban Assault Triped Transport in the 2019 Dorling Kindersley reference books Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary[1] and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Galactic Guide.[5]

In Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, the vehicle was stated to have the height of 6.52 meters.[1] However, the 2025 Dorling Kindersley reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia of Starfighters and Other Vehicles second edition changed the height of the UA-TT to 10.3 meters,[2] a value that was initially attributed to the vehicle's length instead.[1] This article assumes the height value to be an error.
