Boyse was a moff within the Galactic Empire during its reign. Moff Boyse commanded a blockade of the planet Scipio from his flagship, the Exchequer. The blockade consisted of Star Destroyers, and—along with Imperial advisors—ensured that the Core Five,[1] the leading council of the InterGalactic Banking Clan,[2] would not allocate or loan funds to those who were not completely loyal to the Empire.[1]

Moff Boyse was mentioned in Endless Vigil, a 2016 sourcebook for Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game.[1]
