- "It's possible the Nihil are already here in the system?"
"We should let the Hon-Tallos temple know what we suspect." - ―Lily Tora-Asi and Keerin Fionn
The Hon-Tallos temple was a Jedi temple located on the Inugg system planet Hon-Tallos during the High Republic Era. By 382 BBY, the Jedi had plans to construct the temple, and it was built at some point by 232 BBY. In 232 BBY, after the Inugg system planet Banchii was attacked by carnivorous plants known as the Drengir, Jedi Master Stellan Gios visited the temples in the sector and saw old hyperspace prospector symbols at the Hon-Tallos temple.
Soon after, Jedi Padawan Keerin Fionn suggested to his master, Jedi Knight Lily Tora-Asi, that they inform the Hon-Tallos temple of their suspicions that the Nihil marauders had a presence in the Inugg system. In 230 BBY, the Hon-Tallos temple was attacked by the Nihil. In the same year, Jedi Knight Yacek Sparkburn told Padawan Imri Cantaros that he enjoyed the food served at the Hon-Tallos temple.
Description
- "Yacek may not be a great duelist, but he's an amazing cook. He said that the food in the temple on Hon-Tallos is even better. I think I'd like to visit there."
- ―Imri Cantaros, to Vernestra Rwoh
The Hon-Tallos temple was a Jedi temple of the Jedi Order located on the Outer Rim Territories[2] Inugg system[3] planet[5] Hon-Tallos during the High Republic Era.[2] Food was served at the temple,[4] and hyperspace prospector symbols could be seen there.[6]
History
- "We just received a distorted message from Hon-Tallos. It seems to be a distress call. We believe that the Nihil have reached the Inugg system…and their temple is under attack."
- ―Stellan Gios, to Lily Tora-Asi
By 382 BBY,[1] the Jedi had plans to build a temple on Hon-Tallos.[7] That year,[1] Jedi Knight Azlin Rell created a journal containing information on[7] the Force-consuming[8] Nameless creatures. To protect the journal, the droid ZZ-10 and the Jedi Knight Arkoff hid it on the Inugg system planet Banchii, believing that Arkoff's position at the Hon-Tallos temple after it was constructed would allow him to monitor it.[7]

By 232 BBY,[1] the Hon-Tallos temple had been constructed, and a second Jedi temple in the Inugg system had been recently set up on Banchii.[2] That year,[1] the temple on Banchii was attacked by a sentient carnivorous plant species known as the Drengir. Following the attack, Jedi Master Stellan Gios checked on all of the temples in the sector.[2] While visiting the Hon-Tallos temple, Gios saw old hyperspace prospector symbols.[6] Shortly after the Drengir attack, Jedi Knight Lily Tora-Asi came to suspect that the Nihil marauders had a presence in the Inugg system, as they had previously used the Drengir. Her Padawan, Keerin Fionn, suggested they inform the Hon-Tallos temple of their suspicions.[2] In 231 BBY,[9] Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh visited Gios in his office in the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant and showed him a puzzle box she had found while responding to a Nihil attack on the planet Tiikae. The puzzle box had a glyph resembling an arrow with multiple tips, which Gios noted was similar to the prospector symbols he had seen at the Hon-Tallos temple.[6]
In 230 BBY,[10] the Nihil attacked the Hon-Tallos temple. The Starlight Beacon space station received a distorted distress call from Hon-Tallos during the attack. Gios, who was aboard Starlight Beacon, sent a transmission to Tora-Asi as she departed the station to tell her of the attack and warn her that the Nihil had reached the Inugg system. Gios then mentioned they were attempting to reconnect with Hon-Tallos.[3] Jedi Knight Yacek Sparkburn, who served at the Jedi temple on the planet Dalna, was a skilled cook and believed the food served at the Hon-Tallos temple was even better than that served at the Dalna temple.[4] In the same year,[10] Sparkburn told Rwoh's Padawan, Imri Cantaros, of his opinion. Cantaros later informed Rwoh of what he had heard from Sparkburn regarding the quality of the temple's food and stated he would like to visit it.[4]
