Endovar was a terrestrial planet^[6] located in the Endovar system within the Terrabe sector of the Mid Rim^[1] and the Interior.^[2] It was situated in grid square M-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.^[1]

During the High Republic Era, a Jedi Temple of the Jedi Order was situated on Endovar.^[4] The Jedi Masters Torban Buck and Kantam Sy both spent time on Endovar as Padawans. On Endovar, the two participated in an event known as the Great Jedi Rumble Race, though the tradition of hosting the race eventually stopped.^[3] Grand Master Yoda watched after a group of Padawans on the object for some time.^[5] At some point, Sy's future Padawan, Lula Talisola, was present alongside them and Yoda at the Jedi temple on Endovar.^[4] The Jedi also had a pen where they looked after Happabores on Endovar, including one named Monsalmo. Endovar was also known to have very frequent seasonal festivals.^[5]

Behind the scenes

Endovar was first mentioned in the eleventh issue of the 2021 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures, published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[3] Phase I.^[7] The issue was written by Daniel José Older and published by IDW Publishing^[3] on December 1, 2021.^[8] The planet then made its first appearance in a flashback in the series' twelfth issue, also written by Older, illustrated by Harvey Tolibao and Pow Rodrix,^[4] and published on January 12, 2022.^[9]

Endovar later appeared in flashbacks in The High Republic: Midnight Horizon, a young-adult novel written by Older^[5] that was published as part of Phase I^[7] on February 1, 2022.^[10] At one point, the novel mistakenly refers to Endovar as "Andovar,"^[5] a spelling that was also repeated in the seventh issue of the 2023 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The issue was written by Older and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the multimedia project's Phase III^[11] on July 10, 2024.^[12] Endovar was also incorrectly referred to as Endor in Star Wars: The High Republic: The Lightsaber Collection, a reference book written by Daniel Wallace^[13] that was published on November 12 of the same year.^[7]
