The All Terrain Scout Transport/Assault (AT-ST/A) was a walker and direct assault variant of the Imperial All Terrain Scout Transport. It featured an advanced gyro stabilizer system and reinforced feet, which made it slightly taller than the standard AT-ST model. It measured 10 meters in height and only had one blaster cannon. All of its modifications made it more suitable for direct attacks than the AT-ST.[1]

Behind the scenes

The All Terrain Scout Transport/Assault was first mentioned in the The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, a Star Wars Legends reference book released in March 1996.[2] The AT-ST/A was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Walkers and Ground Vehicles of the Empire and First Order, a booklet in a series of canon reference booklets titled the Star Wars Encyclopedia, published on May 11, 2021.[3]
