ILM Immersive is Lucasfilm's immersive entertainment studio, a subdivision of the Industrial Light & Magic visual effects company. Founded in 2015 as ILMxLAB, the studio creates virtual reality experiences using new and emerging technology to allow fans to step inside original Star Wars stories.[1] ILM Immersive has created VR projects like Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge.
