"—the Sword of Khashyun. Legend has it that it was forged by a sect of Dowutin Sith warriors who believed lightsabers were for the weak. They believed that only a truly worthy warrior would have the strength to wield it."
―Chelli Lona Aphra[1]

A sect of the Sith order consisted of Dowutin warriors who believed that lightsabers were for the weak. Therefore, they created the Sword of Khashyun, which they thought could only be wielded by the strongest and worthiest warriors. Legend had it that the sword bore a curse that forced the cultists turn on each other. Eventually, the cultists built a temple on Moraband where the sword was put to rest between the feet of a mummified Dowutin Sith.[1]
