Grand Orbital Observatory of Coruscant

The Grand Orbital Observatory of Coruscant was a structure designed to observe astronomical phenomena. It shared its name with[1] the Core Worlds[2] planet Coruscant. During the Republic Era, it was frequented by members of the Jedi Order, including the Jedi Padawan Jape as he studied under his Master in the field of astrophysics.[1] By 40 BBY,[3] Jape had told fellow Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi about his visits to the observatory, which sparked jealousy in his friend.[1]
