The Esaga sector was a sector[2] in the Mid Rim Territories.[1] During the reign of the Galactic Empire, it was governed by Moff Haveland. It was known for its problems from grallocs, creatures similar to mynocks that attacked starships. In 1 BBY,[3] the Third Fleet of the Imperial Navy, under Grand Admiral Balanhai Savit, launched an anti-piracy campaign in the region—though it was actually a part of the Grand Admiral's corrupt scheme to steal components of the top-secret Project Stardust.[2]
