Brigadier General was a high commissioned military rank used by the Galactic Republic[2] and Galactic Empire[3] that was senior to a colonel. Republic Colonel Meebur Gascon had dreams of being promoted to Brigadier General,[2] which he eventually obtained.[4] Nevar of the Imperial Army held the rank during the Battle of Hoth[3] in 3 ABY,[5] and served as the vehicle commander of the All Terrain Armored Transport Blizzard 2.[3]
