Battle of Ryloth

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on May 10, 2009)

Battle of Ryloth
"The Twi'leks on that planet can't wait for long, Master. The longer the Techno Union keeps control of Ryloth, the more difficult it'll be to free them."
"I agree. We don't have much time."
―Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu
The Battle of Ryloth took place in 21 BBY on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth during the Clone Wars. Seeking to steal the treasures of fellow Separatist Council member Passel Argente while claiming another victory for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor invaded the planet and executed the subjugation the Twi'lek people. Tambor's forces were met with early resistance from Galactic Republic military units and Twi'lek resistance fighters led by Jedi General Ima-Gun Di and General Cham Syndulla, respectively. With the Confederacy's annihilation of the Republic fleet defending Ryloth, supply lines to the planet were severed, leaving the Twi'lek population without food or medical supplies and the Republic forces stranded without reinforcements. Although Di and his troops were all killed, the Twi'lek freedom fighters were saved by the timely arrival of Republic relief supplies from Toydaria. After being defeated by the Confederacy at Cazne, Syndulla led his compatriots into hiding.

Finalizing defenses for his newly captured world, Emir Tambor placed Captain Mar Tuuk in command of the Confederate blockade guarding the planet and T-series tactical droid TX-20 in charge of the proton cannons in the city of Nabat, while he made headquarters for himself in the conquered capital of Lessu. After receiving pleas for assistance from Ryloth's senator, Orn Free Taa, the Jedi High Council dispatched Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to eliminate the Separatist blockade and make way for clone trooper forces from the Grand Army of the Republic to land on and liberate Ryloth. Despite heavy losses to their fleet, Skywalker and Tano were able to break the blockade, allowing Republic troop transports—commanded by High Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu—to safely enter the Ryloth system. Once Kenobi, Clone Commander CC-2224, and the Republic unit Ghost Company had destroyed Nabat's proton cannons, Windu was able to land with his transports.

En route to retake Lessu, Windu, Clone Commander CC-0411, and Lightning Squadron suffered losses in a battle with Separatist tanks, leading Windu to enlist the help of Syndulla and his freedom fighters. After Tambor began a firebombing campaign of the Twi'lek villages, Syndulla finally set aside his previous quarrels with Taa and joined forces with Windu and the Republic. Once Windu and ARF troopers Razor/LegendsRazor and Stak were able to activate Lessu's plasma bridge, the only access to the city, the combined forces of Lightning Squadron and freedom fighters entered the city and routed the Confederacy in what became known as the Battle of Lessu. Tambor's own tactical droid, TA-175, escaped with the Emir's shuttle and left him stranded, and Windu was able to capture Tambor.

Following the liberation of Lessu, Skywalker and Tano were left in command of the operations against the remaining Confederate holdouts on the planet. The two Jedi led the 501st Legion through the ruined city of Resdin, gradually clearing out the droid forces that were encamped there. During the conflict, Clone Captain CT-7567 and Clone Sergeant CS-2207 were captured by the bounty hunter Cad Bane, who was on the run after stealing the Gravitic Core, a part of Separatist scientist Kul Teska's newly developed superweapon. The clones were eventually rescued by Skywalker and Tano, but while trying to escape from Resdin, they and Bane were attacked by Teska himself, who managed to retrieve the Gravitic Core from them. Nuvo Vindi

(Taken to FA by User:Dark Lord Trayus on May 11, 2009)

Vindi
"One can never have too many lab rats."
―Dr. Vindi
Nuvo Vindi was a male scientist employed as a medic by the Perma families until he went missing in 32 BBY. Reappearing on Naboo as a Confederacy of Independent Systems scientist during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy, he became obsessed with recreating the eradicated Blue Shadow Virus, a deadly water-borne plague which resulted in instantaneous death and had no known cure.

In 21 BBY, Vindi was not only able to re-engineer the virus, but also create an airborne strain he planned to release in key Republic star systems. His plot was discovered by Naboo politicians Senator Padmé Amidala and Representative Jar Jar Binks, who then contacted the Jedi Order for assistance. Vindi's laboratory was attacked shortly thereafter by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Knight Anakin Skywalker, Padawan Ahsoka Tano, and the clone troopers of the 501st Legion. The virus was released during the resulting battle, but a cure was quickly found by Kenobi and Skywalker on the planet Iego, negating the threat. Vindi was then taken to the galactic capital Coruscant for trial. (Read more…)

Battle of Abregado

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on June 20, 2009)

Battle of Abregado
"And we have had no further contact with General Plo Koon. The absence of distress beacons indicates that his fleet was…that his fleet was destroyed, like the others. We are about to prepare a rescue mission."
―Anakin Skywalker, to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and the Jedi High Council
The Battle of Abregado was a space battle that took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. Following the defeat of Jedi General Ares Nune's task force in the Phu system at the hands of the Confederate warship Malevolence, High Jedi General Plo Koon of the Galactic Republic took several Venator-class Star Destroyers to find and destroy the ship. Koon tracked the Malevolence to the Abregado system, but the warship attacked his fleet with its ion cannons, and the Star Destroyers were left defenseless. Shortly before the cruisers fell to turbolaser fire, several clone troopers managed to flee in escape pods, and Koon escaped in a pod with Clone Commander Wolffe, Clone Sergeant Sinker and trooper Boost.

Dooku dispatched several boarding craft with rocket battle droids to eliminate the survivors, as he did not want the survivors to inform the Republic of the Malevolence. Only Koon and the three clones in his pod were able to defeat the battle droids who came in search of survivors. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, soon arrived in the system aboard Skywalker's personal ship, the Twilight, and they rescued Koon and the clones. The Twilight encountered the Malevolence, but the Jedi and clones successfully evaded a wave from the warship's ion cannons by jumping to hyperspace. Their escape brought the knowledge of the nature of the weapon to the Republic. (Read more…)

Slick

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on July 7, 2009)

Slick
"It's the Jedi who keep my brothers enslaved. We do your bidding. We serve at your whim. I just wanted something more."
―Slick berates the Jedi
"Slick" was the nickname of a clone trooper sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. He began to develop a hatred for his Jedi commanding officers, believing that he and his fellow clone brothers were acting as the Jedi's puppets. In 21 BBY, Slick betrayed the Galactic Republic and began to pass inside information to the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After the Confederacy invaded the planet of Christophsis, Slick accompanied a faction of Republic forces under the command of Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to liberate the planet from the Confederate oppression.

On Christophsis, Slick led his unit on a reconnaissance of a strategical location for an ambush on the Confederate battle droids, and after returning to the Republic base, Slick informed Ventress and the Confederate General Whorm Loathsom of the Republic's plan. The Confederacy was able to ambush the Republic forces, and Kenobi and Skywalker went to search for information in Confederacy-held territory while Clone Captain CT-7567 and Clone Commander CC-2224—nicknamed Rex and Cody, respectively—stayed to find the possible Republic traitor. In the clones' following interrogation of Slick's men, Slick was revealed to be the Confederate spy, and after the traitor severely damaged the Republic base's weapons depot, Rex and Cody engaged him in a brawl. Slick was apprehended, and when Skywalker and Kenobi returned, the traitorous clone was taken to lock-up. (Read more…)

Mission to Rugosa

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on August 11, 2009)

Mission to Rugosa
"Retreat, you must. On the moon below is my mission. There, I must go."
―Yoda, to Captain Zak
The mission to Rugosa was an operation that took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. The Galactic Republic and the Jedi High Council sought to build a base in the Outer Rim Territories for further combat against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and Grand Master Yoda was dispatched with a convoy of clone troopers to the coral moon of Rugosa to engage in diplomatic negotiations with Katuunko, the king of Toydaria. However, the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress arrived first to negotiate with Katuunko on behalf of the Confederacy and its Head of State, Count Dooku. The Republic convoy was ambushed by several Confederate frigates, but Yoda was able to land on the moon in an escape pod with several clones.

Ventress posed a challenge for the Jedi: she would send her best battle droid forces to capture him, and if he defeated the droids, Toydaria would be given reason to ally with the Republic. Should Yoda fail, Toydaria would join the Confederacy. Yoda accepted the terms, and he and the clone shock troopers Lieutenant CC-4477, nicknamed "Thire," Jek, and Rys separately fought the droids. The three clones defeated a squad of B1-Series battle droids, but Yoda arrived to rescue the clones from a group of oncoming B2 super battle droids. After escaping, the four took refuge in a cave, where the Jedi Master imparted his wisdom upon the clones to inspire their efforts.

Yoda proceeded to defeat several Confederate droid squads and three Armored Assault Tanks single-handedly, and Ventress broke the terms of the competition, dispatching droideka reinforcements to eliminate the Jedi. Thire launched a rocket and caused an avalanche, however, crushing the droids. With the Confederacy's attempt at a treaty foiled, Dooku ordered his apprentice through a hololink to assassinate Katuunko. Yoda and the clones arrived in time to stop the assassination, and Ventress was forced to activate pre-planted explosives to cause a rockfall and escape. Yoda was able to stop the rubble, and Katuunko promised Toydaria's service to the Republic, before departing aboard an LAAT/i gunship with the Republic diplomatic forces. (Read more…)

Battle of the Kaliida Nebula

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on August 21, 2009)

Battle of Kaliida
"While our capital ships are vulnerable to the enemy's attack, I believe a squad of bombers can outmaneuver their ion weapon. Our target will be the bridge…and General Grievous."
―Anakin Skywalker, to Shadow Squadron
This space battle took place near the Kaliida Nebula around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars. Shortly after the Galactic Republic's discovery of the Confederate warship Malevolence, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker developed a plan to attack the warship and its commander, General Grievous. Confederate Head of State Count Dooku ordered Grievous to target the Republic's secret Outer Rim medical center, and the Malevolence's eradication of a Republic medical convoy in the Ryndellia system identified the warship's quarry to the Republic. Skywalker planned to intercept the ship, accompanied by his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, as well as High Jedi General Plo Koon.

Skywalker arrived at the medical station via a shortcut through the nebula with the starfighter unit Shadow Squadron, and engaged Vulture droids launched from the Malevolence. Suffering losses from the warship's ion cannons, Skywalker led his squadron to attack the vessel's starboard cannon. When the Malevolence attempted to use the damaged weapon on the medical center, the cannon exploded, causing further damage to the ship. Admiral Wullf Yularen and Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived with several Venator-class Star Destroyers and engaged the fleeing Malevolence, which was unable to retreat to hyperspace because of damage to its hyperdrive.

Dooku's Sith Master, Darth Sidious, used his alter ego as Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to trick Senator Padmé Amidala into traveling to the nebula, where Grievous could use her as a hostage and escape. Amidala arrived in the system and was pulled aboard the Malevolence. Skywalker and Kenobi arrived on the warship via Skywalker's personal ship, the Twilight, and rescued Amidala. Kenobi attempted to cause further damage to the warship's hyperdrive, but was confronted by Grievous and forced to engage the cyborg general in lightsaber combat before escaping. Skywalker and Amidala sabotaged the ship's navigation computer, and the group returned to the Republic fleet. When the Malevolence attempted to jump to hyperspace, it crashed into a nearby moon, and Grievous retreated. (Read more…)

Fil/Legends

(Taken to FA by JangFett on August 24, 2009)

Fil HS
"Bel, Niner…watch after the ship."
"Yes, sir."
―Commander Fil, to Niner and Bel — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
CC-3714, nicknamed "Fil," was a veteran clone trooper commander in the Grand Army of the Republic who was assigned to recently promoted Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, he led a squad of clone troopers on a mission to the third moon of Vassek, in the Outer Rim Territories. Accompanied by Vebb and Jedi Master Kit Fisto, the group searched for Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray, who had been recently freed from Republic captivity. Unbeknownst to the group, Gunray, along with Confederate Head of State Count Dooku, had laid a trap for the Jedi, using a homing beacon to deceive the Jedi and make them believe that Gunray was hiding in a castle on the moon.

After the group realized that they had fallen for a trap, the Confederate General Grievous arrived at the castle, which was in fact his personal retreat. The Jedi and clone troopers tried to capture Grievous, but after a short brawl with the Republic squad, the cyborg general fled to the stronghold's secret command center. After Grievous opened a molten incinerator pit trap, which was under Fil and the Jedi, the cyborg general released his pet roggwart, Gor, to attack them. Fil was caught by the beast, which used its tail to grab the commander. The Jedi tried to free him, but Fil was killed when Gor slammed the clone on the ground. Vebb was later murdered at the hands of Grievous, leaving Fisto as the only survivor of the mission. (Read more…)

Senate hostage crisis

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on August 26, 2009)

Hostage Crisis
"Morning, Senators. You should all consider yourselves to be in my power. As long as everybody behaves, this will be quick and painless. Do nothing, and it will all be over soon."
―Cad Bane, to the senators
The Senate hostage crisis occurred around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars when the Hutt Grand Council hired the bounty hunter Cad Bane to organize a raid on the Republic Executive Building aimed at capturing members of the Galactic Senate. Bane sought to force Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to issue a pardon for the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure, who had previously been arrested and imprisoned in the Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center for his role in the Confederacy of Independent Systems' kidnapping of his great-nephew, Rotta. Bane formed a team of bounty hunters that included the Jedi hunter Aurra Sing, the Weequay Shahan Alama, and the Patrolian technician Robonino, along with several Confederate droids. After testing his team by pitting them against fellow bounty hunter Davtokk, Bane deemed his accomplices ready for their mission.

Infiltrating the Executive Building and disposing of multiple Senate Commando guards along the way, the team took a small group of senators hostage. Bane trapped Palpatine and Senator Orn Free Taa in the Chancellor's office by having Robonino shut down the building's power. Bane then issued an ultimatum to the Supreme Chancellor: Ziro was to be released, or the senators would be executed. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker was still in the building, though unarmed, and was knocked out and captured by the hunters. To secure the Hutt's release in exchange for the senators' lives, Bane ordered Taa to take a pardon disc to the Detention Center to release Ziro.

Taa reluctantly complied and was escorted to the prison by the sentinel droid HELIOS-3D. As final leverage against Palpatine, the bounty hunters set up a system of lasers around the senators that would trigger explosives with the slightest touch before leaving the building. Clone troopers of the Coruscant Guard led by Clone Commander CC-1010 arrived to apprehend Bane's team on the landing platform, but the still-trapped senators allowed the bounty hunters to escape with Ziro. Although Bane remotely activated the explosives as payback for the indignities the Hutt had suffered in prison, a revived Skywalker was able to cut a hole around the senators, and all of them dropped into the room below seconds before the explosives went off. Whorm Loathsom

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on September 6, 2009)

WhormLoathsomHS
"Unless you call off your troops right now, I will have no choice but to destroy you!"
―Whorm Loathsom, to Obi-Wan Kenobi — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
Whorm Loathsom was a male Kerkoiden who hailed from the planet Kerkoidia and served both in his homeworld's planetary forces and as the general of the Retail Caucus's military forces in the Confederacy of Independent Systems. An accomplished commander, his numerous victories during the Clone Wars led him to infamy throughout the Inner Core. In 21 BBY, Loathsom captured the planet Christophsis, and the Galactic Republic dispatched Jedi-led clone trooper forces to liberate the planet. After several days of fighting, Loathsom was forced to retreat. He soon launched a counterattack, however, advancing his battle droid troops behind a deflector shield that rendered the Republic's artillery useless.

High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi pretended to surrender to the Kerkoiden in order to gain time for Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, to eliminate the shield generator. Loathsom eventually lost patience with discussing Kenobi's "terms of surrender" and threatened to kill the Jedi. After Skywalker and Tano destroyed the generator, however, Loathsom himself was captured. With his shameful defeat and capture on Christophsis, Loathsom was taken to Coruscant, where he was tried by the Republic and found guilty of treason, as his service in his Republic-aligned homeworld's planetary forces made him a member of the Republic military. Loathsom was eventually transferred from imprisonment on Akrit'tar to house arrest at a castle on Kerkoidia, from which, weeks later, he escaped captivity with the assistance of Separatist agents. EV-A4-D

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on September 16, 2009)

EV-A4-D-TCW
"Doctor, where are you?"
"Don't be upset with me, Master. If you were a better fighter, we would not be having this conversation."
―Grievous and EV-A4-D — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
EV-A4-D, also known as A4-D, was a modified EV-series supervisor droid who served the cyborg General Grievous of the Confederacy of Independent Systems as a medical/repair droid during the Clone Wars. As with many EV-model droids, a programming defect caused EV-A4-D to have a sadistic personality. Prior to his work with Grievous, EV-A4-D served as a supervisor in a hospital on the world of Tauber, but he was relieved from duty after ordering the medical droids under his command to operate on patients without administering painkillers. He was later purchased by the InterGalactic Banking Clan and absorbed into the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

EV-A4-D was eventually assigned to work as the personal doctor of Grievous. Stationed in Grievous's castle on the third moon of Vassek, EV-A4-D became the facility's caretaker, managing the general's residence and working to repair any damage he sustained to his cyborg body over the course of the war. Around 21 BBY, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku lured Republic forces to Grievous's castle in order to assess the general's abilities as the Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army. During the confrontation with the Republic, Grievous was heavily damaged and was repaired by EV-A4-D to be able to confront the intruders once more. EV-A4-D later separated Nahdar Vebb and Kit Fisto, the two Jedi who were leading the Republic forces, allowing Grievous to defeat Vebb. However, as EV-A4-D monitored the castle's security cameras from the control room, he was bisected and destroyed by Fisto.

The droid's body was later recovered by Grievous and reassembled. EV-A4-D then left Vassek, traveling with his master during his military campaigns serving as both doctor and advisor. EV-A4-D was present alongside Grievous during the seige of Dorin, during which he informed the general a communication from Count Dooku's assassin, Asajj Ventress. (Read more…)

Mission to Rodia

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on October 12, 2009)

Mission to Rodia
"Can you ever forgive me, Padmé?"
"It is the Republic that should be asking your forgiveness, my old friend. Far too often we forget that our most important allies are not always the most powerful."
―Onaconda Farr and Padmé Amidala — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
Senator Padmé Amidala took a diplomatic mission to Rodia around 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars. As the planet's supplies had been recently attacked by pirates, Amidala sought to ensure that Rodia remained allied with the Galactic Republic. Yet, Onaconda Farr, Rodia's representative in the Galactic Senate, had allied himself with Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Upon her arrival in the Senatorial Palace on Rodia, Amidala was taken captive, to be given to Gunray as part of the arrangement. After Amidala's protocol droid, C-3PO, and Representative Jar Jar Binks were attacked by battle droids in the palace hangar, Binks accidentally crushed Amidala's yacht with a magnetic hoist. Binks and C-3PO resolved to rescue Amidala from the palace's detention tower; however, when Binks found a Jedi robe in the yacht and put it on, the Confederate forces mistook him for a Jedi.

After Gunray arrived to collect Amidala, the viceroy revealed that he intended to execute her, and Farr began to mistrust the viceroy. Amidala broke out of her cell, while Binks, unaware of her escape, attempted to rescue her. C-3PO went to contact any Republic clone troopers within range for support, and Amidala engaged the Confederate droids. Binks slipped underwater, but a homing torpedo aimed at the Gungan exploded, and he was presumed dead. After contacting a nearby Republic convoy, C-3PO was arrested. As Confederate droidekas prepared to execute Amidala and C-3PO, however, Binks reappeared, and a Kwazel Maw that had befriended and saved the Gungan attacked the droids. Gunray fled, but he was apprehended by Amidala and Farr and taken into custody. Farr and Rodia remained allied to the Republic, and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine dispatched relief supplies to the planet. (Read more…)

MasterTauhtIsYELLING-TCW7
"Now this is one of my favorite things—a Jedi with nothing left to say."
―Asajj Ventress, after killing Tauht
Tauht was a Human male who served as a Jedi Master during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Along with Jedi Masters Kit Fisto and Plo Koon, he was dispatched to the Separatist-occupied planet Khorm in order to secure the world's agrocite, a valuable ore used to exceptionally increase power to starfighters. Tauht participated in the Republic's initial assault on an Agrocite processing center, which was controlled by the native Khormai Warlord Unger Gout, who had aligned himself with the Confederacy.

The Republic forces captured the plant and established a base there, although Gout managed to escape. Hoping to minimize clone trooper casualties in the next battle, Koon and Fisto left to search for a Confederate weather-control station, which supposedly controlled storms above Khorm and was preventing the Republic from employing air support. Tauht was left in charge of the Republic station, which was soon attacked by the Confederate forces commanded by the Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress. During the battle, Tauht and Ventress confronted each other. After a brief fight, Tauht was killed by Ventress, who used the Force to manipulate one of her lightsabers and stabbed the Jedi Master with it. (Read more…)

Skytop Station

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on November 20, 2009)

Skytop Station
"Most honored Count, Skytop Station is fully active! Only my contacts in the communications cartel could make such a marvel possible."
Po Nudo to Count Dooku
Skytop Station was a Confederate listening post during the Clone Wars. A modified Lucrehulk-class Core Ship, the station was designed to monitor Republic communications, thereby providing the Confederate Droid Army with vital intelligence on the movement of enemy fleets. Skytop Station was built and crewed by the Hyper-Communications Cartel, a business group formed by Confederate leader Po Nudo. It was stationed in the upper atmosphere of one of the moons of Ruusan.

Once construction was completed, Skytop Station began to intercept Republic HoloNet transmissions, providing the Confederacy with intelligence on the movement of Republic fleets. Following the Battle of Bothawui, High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi tasked Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, with finding and destroying the station. The two discovered Skytop Station's location after receiving a distress call from the captured Republic droid R2-D2, who was being taken to the station to be delivered to the Confederate General Grievous. Skywalker and Tano traveled to the station and infiltrated it alongside members of the Grand Army of the Republic's 501st Legion with the intent to rescue R2-D2 and destroy the listening post. Despite Grievous's efforts to thwart the Republic forces, Skywalker and his companions were able to disable Skytop Station's reactor and repulsorlift generators, causing the core ship to fall from the sky. Cham closeup
"You sing a song of a legend. I'm just a soldier, Gobi."
―Cham Syndulla
Cham Syndulla was a revolutionary male Twi'lek from the planet Ryloth who formed and led the Twi'lek freedom fighters during the Clone Wars. Before the war, Syndulla, a member of his planet's nobility, opposed both the Galactic Republic and its Ryloth Senator, Orn Free Taa, believing Taa to be uncaring of the fate of the Twi'lek people. After the Clone Wars had begun, the Confederacy of Independent Systems invaded Ryloth. Reluctant to take power but wanting the best for his people, Syndulla formed the freedom fighters to combat the oppression and launched a campaign against the Separatist Droid Army. However, Syndulla and his forces were forced to retreat from the battlefield, and his fighters set up camp in the remains of several fallen droid vehicles on the plains of Cazne.

Syndulla's leadership qualities led his friend and minstrel, Gobi Glie, to compose a song about him, though Syndulla was opposed to the ballad's exaggeration of his traits. After Jedi Master Mace Windu arrived with Republic forces to liberate Ryloth, Syndulla resolved his issues with Taa and the Republic and entered into an alliance with them. During the ensuing assault on Ryloth's capital of Lessu to free the city from Separatist control, Syndulla led the combined forces of his freedom fighters and the Republic unit Lightning Squadron to besiege the captured city, and he was eventually able to liberate his homeworld from the Confederacy. "Jedi cruiser Tranquility, this is General Luminara Unduli requesting permission to land."
"You are cleared, General. We await your prisoner's arrival."

The Tranquility was a Venator-class Star Destroyer in the service of the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, the Star Destroyer was dispatched to Rodia in the aftermath of Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray's capture by the Republic. Alongside Jedi General Luminara Unduli, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, a contingent of the Grand Army of the Republic's 41st Elite Legion, and a division of Senate Commandos, the Tranquility was to transport Gunray from Rodia to the Republic capital of Coruscant, where he would stand trial for war crimes.

Just as the Tranquility began its journey, it was accosted by Confederate Vulture droid starfighters and Droch-class boarding ships. Despite the efforts of the Star Destroyer's gunners, the boarding ships were able to pierce the Tranquility's hull, deploying super battle droids alongside Asajj Ventress, a Confederate assassin tasked with freeing Gunray from Republic captivity. Although the Republic forces aboard the Tranquility were able to repel the battle droids, Ventress crippled the Star Destroyer by setting off explosives within its main reactor room. This, in addition to the betrayal of a member of the Senate Commandos, allowed Gunray to escape the detention level, flee the Tranquility, and return to Confederate space. After a lightsaber duel in the destroyed reactor room, Ventress escaped the Tranquility as well aboard one of its escape pods, joining the fleeing Gunray and leaving the Jedi and Republic Navy with a heavily damaged Star Destroyer. Battle of Kadavo

"My people will be forever indebted to the Jedi Order, Master Yoda."
"Done our duty, we have. Unfortunate it is, the suffering your people endured."
Governor Roshti and Jedi Master Yoda, after the Jedi's liberation of Roshti's people
A battle was fought circa 21 BBY on the planet Kadavo during the Clone Wars. Having occupied the Togruta's colony world of Kiros, the Confederacy of Independent Systems secretly transferred the world's entire population to the planet Zygerria, where the Togrutas were to be sold as slaves at an auction. A Galactic Republic task force led by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, and Skywalker's Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, liberated Kiros and discovered links leading to Zygerria. The Jedi and Clone Captain CT-7567 soon infiltrated the auction and tried to rescue the Togrutas but were captured by the Zygerrians and enslaved.

Skywalker and his Padawan, however, escaped from the Zygerrians and headed for Kadavo to rescue Kenobi, CT-7567, and the Togrutas, who had been transferred to the Zygerrian Labor Processing Hub on the planet. Fearing that the liberation of the slaves could prove him a liar—as he had spread word that the Jedi had eradicated Kiros's population—the Confederate leader Count Dooku sent his assassin, Asajj Ventress, alongside General Grievous, to kill everyone at the Kadavo facility.

After both the Republic and the Confederate forces arrived at Kadavo, a battle ensued on and above the planet. While Grievous's fleet battled the Republic Venator-class Star Destroyers, Ventress led a squadron of Hyena-class bombers to destroy the Labor Processing Hub. Hoping that the Separatists would spare him if he killed the Togrutas himself, the facility head—the Keeper—tried to dump the slaves into the lava but was prevented from doing so by Kenobi and CT-7567. Soon, Republic reinforcements arrived, forcing the Confederate fleet to retreat. Ventress, however, chose to continue the fight alone and made a last ditch attempt to kill the Jedi with her starship, the Trident, but was repelled by the Republic V-19 Torrent starfighters. Having won the battle, the Republic returned the people of Kiros back to their home. (Read more…)

However, Confederate Head of State Count Dooku, displeased with General Grievous's recent failures in the war, used a Republic homing beacon to lure the Jedi and clones to the general's castle on the third moon of Vassek as a test for Grievous. Gunray deceived the Jedi and troopers through a holotransmission, and once they uncovered the ploy, Dooku contacted the Republic agents and put them on the trail of the "alternative prize" of Grievous.

The Jedi and their troops set a trap for Grievous and confronted the cyborg general once he arrived. However, Grievous was able to eliminate several clone troopers, and after sustaining injuries, escape to the castle's secret command center. Sealing off the exits, the Confederate general trapped the Jedi and clones inside his castle. While Grievous was repaired by his caretaker droid, the general pitted the Jedi and the remaining clones against the castle's defenses—a molten incinerator pit and the general's pet roggwart, Gor. The clones were killed, but the Jedi were able to eliminate Gor. As Grievous resolved to personally confront the Jedi, Fisto and Vebb infiltrated the castle's command center. Vebb remained outside, however, and fought Grievous himself, but was killed by the general. After Fisto dueled Grievous on the castle's outer platform, the Jedi Master was able to escape. Skirmish at Vanqor

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on January 4, 2009)

Dooku escape hatch
"When you're a Jedi Master, you can make the plan."
"That's just it. How can I become a Jedi Master if I'm always getting caught?"
"At least you're a master…at getting caught."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker
This skirmish took place over and on the planet Vanqor around 21 BBY when the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order attempted to capture Confederate Head of State Count Dooku. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker allowed himself to be taken prisoner aboard Dooku's frigate while in an ice field and High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi infiltrated the Confederate vessel when it was later in space over Vanqor, freeing his companion. The two Jedi found and confronted Dooku, but as the Republic Star Destroyer Resolute opened fire on the frigate, the Sith Lord fled from the ship in his solar sailer.

Skywalker and Kenobi stole a transport shuttle and pursued the Count, but both the Jedi and Sith's ships were damaged and forced to crash-land on Vanqor. While Dooku trapped the Jedi in a cave and managed to escape, Skywalker and Kenobi fought and defeated a gundark before accidentally releasing noxious gas while trying to unblock the exit from the cave. The two Jedi were rescued by Skywalker's Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, and a clone trooper squad, when they blasted open the cavern entrance. (Read more…)

Wolffe-SWE
"Do you think we have a chance, General?"
"I don't believe in chance, Commander. I know if we work together, we will stay alive, and someone will find us."
―Wolffe and Plo Koon
CC-3636, nicknamed "Wolffe," was a veteran clone trooper commander in the Grand Army of the Republic who served with Jedi General Plo Koon during the Clone Wars. The leader of the 104th Battalion's famed Wolfpack squad, Commander Wolffe proved to be tireless in his efforts against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In 21 BBY, Wolffe served with Koon on board the Jedi Master's flagship, the Triumphant, when Koon led a task force to eliminate the Separatist warship Malevolence. While confronting the Malevolence in the Abregado system, however, all of the Wolfpack was eliminated, save for Koon, Wolffe, and troopers Sinker and Boost. The four were eventually rescued by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, and Wolffe had his unit adopt new clone trooper armor in honor of his fallen comrades.

Wolffe later participated in the Battle of Khorm alongside Generals Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht, as well as Major Kendal Ozzel; Wolffe's loyalty to the Jedi frequently put him at odds with the ambitious Ozzel. Though Wolffe lost his right eye in a fight with the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress, the Republic was able to defeat the Separatists, liberating the Confederacy's Khormai slaves and securing the planet's repositories of rare agrocite ore for the Grand Army. Although scarred and forced to wear a cybernetic eye replacement, Wolffe continued his Republic service in the war, undertaking several key rescue missions with Koon. Wolffe even joined Koon in facing off against General Grievous during the Battle of Felucia and the following Mission to Iceberg Three. (Read more…)

―Waxer, to Numa — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
"Waxer" was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in Ghost Company, a unit of the Grand Army of the Republic's 212th Attack Battalion. During the Clone Wars, Waxer fought alongside Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in freeing the Togrutan colony world of Kiros from the Separatist Droid Army and later participated in the liberation of the planet Ryloth and its Twi'lek inhabitants. On Ryloth, Ghost Company—led by General Kenobi—was assigned to destroy the Confederate proton cannons in the city of Nabat, in order to allow the Galactic Republic Acclamator-class assault ships to land. After the company reached the city, Waxer and fellow trooper Boil were dispatched to scout ahead and soon found a young Twi'lek orphan named Numa in one of the city's alleys.

Taking compassion on the girl, Waxer—despite Boil's protests—decided to take her with them, and the Twi'lek led the two clones to her destroyed home. There, the three were attacked by several gutkurr beasts, but they managed to escape thanks to Numa's knowledge of secret underground passages beneath Nabat. After regrouping with the rest of the Republic troops, Waxer and Boil participated in an assault on the city's courtyard, where Nabat's captive inhabitants were being used as living shields for the proton cannons. While Ghost Company distracted the Confederate battle droids, Waxer, Boil, and Kenobi went behind enemy lines through a secret passage shown to them by Numa, liberated the Twi'leks, and destroyed the proton cannons. After the successful liberation of Ryloth, Waxer participated in a Republic offensive aimed at destroying several Separatist battle droid foundries on the recently rebelled planet of Geonosis. During the battle, Waxer and Boil rescued Kenobi, whose landing gunship had been shot down by Geonosian forces. (Read more…)

Bolla Ropal

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on January 16, 2010)

Bolla Ropal
"The Republic military brings more than conflict, I assure you. I am far more interested in using this might to fortify the future than wage war in the present."
―Jedi Master Bolla Ropal
Bolla Ropal (Pronunciation ) was a male Rodian Jedi Master who lived in the waning years of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, Ropal acted as the keeper of the Kyber memory crystal, a device that contained the names of all known Force-sensitive children in the galaxy. Around the beginning of the war, the Rodian accompanied several other Jedi Masters and members of the Jedi High Council to a meeting with Supreme Chancellor Palpatine regarding the kidnapping of the Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure's son by agents of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Later in the war, Ropal and his Padawan, Tyzen Xebec, oversaw the construction of the Temple of Eedit, a Republic base on Devaron.

During a meeting between Ropal and several Devaronian dignitaries, Devaron was invaded by Confederate forces under the command of the bounty hunter Cad Bane. Under the directive of his client, Darth Sidious, Bane hunted down Ropal in order to retrieve the Kyber crystal and unlock the information it held. Ropal was defeated during the battle and taken to Bane's Munificent-class frigate, where he was imprisoned and tortured. Learning of Bane's plot to steal the crystal, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker led a Republic fleet to Devaron to engage the bounty hunter and rescue Ropal before the Confederate forces fled the system. Short on time, Bane increased Ropal's torture while repeatedly trying to force the Jedi Master to unlock the secrets of the crystal. Ropal continually refused, and the torture eventually resulted in his death. The Jedi Master's body was discovered shortly thereafter by Republic forces and moved to the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute. (Read more…)

Boil was the nickname of a clone trooper who served in the 212th Attack Battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic and was a member of Ghost Company. Around 21 BBY, after the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Boil was among the troops dispatched to liberate the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth from the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Led by High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Commander CC-2224, Ghost Company was assigned to destroy the Separatist proton cannons based out of the city of Nabat. After the company reached the city, Boil, along with fellow trooper Waxer, was assigned to scout ahead.

During their recon mission, Boil and Waxer stumbled upon a young Twi'lek girl named Numa. Despite protests from Boil, Waxer decided to take her with them, and the girl led the two clones to the remains of her shattered home. There, the three were attacked by several gutkurr creatures, but escaped through a secret passage shown by Numa. After rendezvousing with the rest of Ghost Company, Boil participated in a raid on the Nabat courtyard, where Separatist battle droids had rounded up the city's inhabitants near the proton cannons. While Ghost Company distracted the droids, Boil, Waxer, and Kenobi went through a secret passage shown by Numa, liberated the Twi'leks, and destroyed the cannons. Later in the war, Boil took part in a battle on the planet Geonosis under the command of General Kenobi. (Taken to FA by JangFett on March 11, 2010)

EchoHS

CT-21-0408, nicknamed "Echo," as he was known for "echoing" the standard rules and procedures established for clones, was a clone trooper who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, Echo stood guard at Rishi Station, a listening post located on the moon of Rishi, where he and other rookie clone troopers were stationed. Under the command of Sergeant O'Niner, the group of clones maintained the listening post to warn the Galactic Republic fleet of any attacks on Kamino by the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The troops were present during a surprise Confederate attack on the station, when BX-series droid commandos took over the base and fortified themselves inside. After three droid commandos shot and killed O'Niner, Echo and the other rookie troopers evacuated the listening post through a ventilation shaft.

Outside, the clones witnessed two clone officers, Commander Cody and Captain Rex, arrive at the base shortly after the attack for a routine inspection. The two met up with Echo and the remaining clone troopers and organized a plan to attack the droids. Upon regaining control of the base with the other clones, Rex ordered the station's destruction to turn of its all-clear beacon and alert a nearby Republic fleet to the imminent Separatist attack. Echo suggested the use of using liquid tibanna, which was being stored in several plunk droids, to destroy the base. However, when the remote detonator to the liquid tibanna was unable to be connected to the explosives, trooper Hevy decided to stay behind and fix the problem before joining the others, while the other clones left the base through a ventilation shaft. Soon after Echo and the others evacuated the base, it exploded, resulting in the destruction of the droid forces and the death of Hevy, who had been unable to make it out. A LAAT/i gunship soon arrived and picked up the surviving clone troopers. On board the Venator-class Star Destroyer Resolute, Echo and fellow trooper Fives were rewarded with medals for their service and were inducted into the 501st Legion. (Read more…)

Cliffhold

Cliffhold
"Place dried up once the spice convoys stopped running. Out here, we're just one of the millions of little backwaters no one cares about."
―Jaybo Hood, on Cliffhold's situation — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
Cliffhold was a spaceport city that was built directly into the face of a cliff on the Outer Rim Territories world of Iego. Founded in the later years of the Galactic Republic, Cliffhold was used by smugglers as a center for spice production. Spice convoys eventually stopped running, but a number of residents remained in the city, managing their dilapidated home. During the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems discovered Iego and seized the world, but abandoned it soon afterward, leaving behind a number of defunct battle droids in Cliffhold. After the Separatists' departure, the people of Cliffhold were unable to leave the planet, as their vessels were repeatedly destroyed by a LaserWeb Defense Station that had been left behind by the Confederacy. The superstitious residents believed that it was instead a malevolent spirit called Drol that was preventing them from leaving.

Later in the war, the city was visited by Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi during their search for an antidote to the Blue Shadow Virus. The Jedi retrieved the antidote and attempted to leave Iego, but were stopped by the defense station. With the assistance of Cliffhold resident Jaybo Hood, the two freed Cliffhold from its fear of Drol by destroying the LaserWeb Defense grid. "Drol" returned once more when the IG-86 sentinel droid HELIOS-3D reactivated part of the laser grid and many of the abandoned Confederate forces in orbit of Iego. The people of Cliffhold contacted Kenobi and Skywalker for assistance, and the two again intervened and freed the planet. (Read more…)

Kul Teska

(Taken to FA by QuiGonJinn on April 27, 2010)

Kul Teska
"My name is Kul Teska. And what I want, you don't have. But I'll settle on seeing the looks on your faces as your precious Clones die."
―Kul Teska, to Obi-Wan Kenobi
Kul Teska was a Skakoan male mercenary active during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Before he took a criminal's path, Teska was a respected scientist in the Techno Union. However, an accident with his pressure suit left Teska disfigured and forced him to leave the Union. With the help of his knowledge in the field of cybernetics, Teska rebuilt his pressure suit, equipping it with a variety of weapons, and became a gun-for-hire. All the while, Teska continued his own experiments with gravity and began construction of the gravitic polarization beam, a superweapon with enough firepower to collapse a star. Teska's experiments soon attracted the attention of Count Dooku, the leader of the Confederacy. During the Clone Wars, Teska came into Dooku's service and was provided with a laboratory on the planet Behpour in the Naboo system, where the Skakoan continued the development of his weapon.

By around 21 BBY, the gravitic beam was complete, and its integral part, the Gravitic Core, was to be delivered to Behpour on a Munificent-class star frigate. However, the crate containing the Core was stolen over the planet Alzoc III by the Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane. Hoping to track the Core by the power signature it radiated, Teska assaulted the Republic space station Juma 9 in order to use its scanners. After locating the part on the planet Ryloth, Teska was confronted by two Jedi Masters inside the station, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Plo Koon. The Skakoan evaded the two and headed for Ryloth. There, he met Cad Bane, who had been taken into custody by the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, and was being escorted to his starship, The Sleight of Hand, with the crate.

After a skirmish with the two Jedi and two of their clone troopers, CS-2207 and CT-7567, Teska reclaimed the part and stole Bane's transport in order to reach Behpour. When Teska reached his base, Republic Senator Padmé Amidala arrived on the planet, investigating rumors of a Separatist presence in the system. Teska captured the Senator and held her hostage. Soon, following a message delivered by Amidala, the Republic forces assaulted Behpour. Skywalker and Tano infiltrated the base, and the Skakoan ordered them to surrender, or he would kill the captive Senator. The two Jedi, however, rescued Amidala and engaged Kul Teska in battle in the gravitic polarization beam's core room, while the beam itself built up its power to collapse the Naboo star. Teska was killed, and Amidala sabotaged the beam, causing it to destroy itself and the entire base. (Read more…)

Suu

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on April 28, 2010)

SuuHS
"We want no trouble here."
―Suu, warning Republic clone troopers
Suu was a female Twi'lek who lived during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Prior to the Clone Wars, Suu gave birth to two children, a girl named Shaeeah and a boy named Jek. Around the second year of the galactic conflict, Suu married Cut Lawquane, a clone trooper who had deserted the Grand Army of the Republic. Lawquane adopted Suu's children, and together the four of them lived on and maintained a farm on the Outer Rim world of Saleucami. The war eventually turned Saleucami into a battlefield, and during a hunt for the Confederacy of Independent Systems General Grievous on the planet's surface, several clone troopers requested that they be allowed to use Suu's home to tend to their wounded captain, CT-7567.

Suu agreed and allowed for the Captain to bunk in the farm's barn. Upon discovering that Suu's husband was a deserter, the Captain stated his intentions to report Lawquane to Republic officials. Despite the tension between the two men, CT-7567 spent time with the family and came to respect Lawquane for his devotion to his wife and children. The two clones later worked together to defend Suu, Jek, and Shaeeah when the farm's homestead came under attack from BX-series droid commandos. After the incident, the Captain told Suu that he did not plan to report Lawquane's desertion to the Army, and left the Twi'lek and her family in peace. (Read more…)

Battle of Khorm

(Taken to FA by QuiGonJinn on May 4, 2010)

BattleofKhorm
"With the addition of the Khormai agrocite to our arsenal, I am confident we have taken a bold step toward bringing peace to the galaxy. Your brave service to the Republic made this great victory possible."
―Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, to Kendal Ozzel, after the battle
The Battle of Khorm took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Hoping to obtain access to the deposits of the valuable agrocite mineral on the ice planet of Khorm for the Republic, the Galactic Senate dispatched a force under the command of three Jedi GeneralsPlo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht—to Khorm. However, by the time the Republic arrived there, the Confederacy had formed an alliance with the native Khormai Warlord Unger Gout, occupied the planet, and enslaved the local population to mine agrocite for them. The Confederacy additionally constructed a weather-control station that created a storm in Khorm's atmosphere, preventing the Republic from using air support but still enabling the fleet to land ground troops.

Soon, the Republic captured an agrocite processing facility and established an outpost there, forcing Gout to request reinforcements from the Confederate leader, Count Dooku. Asajj Ventress, Dooku's Dark Acolyte, was dispatched to assist Gout and arrived at Khorm. However, the Jedi realized that the storm was being created by the weather-control station, prompting Fisto, Koon, and a detachment of clone troopers to set off to destroy it. After the Jedi had left, Ventress and Gout initiated a counterattack at the processing facility and recaptured it. Ventress personally slew General Tauht—who had been left in charge of the base—and the Confederacy captured Major Kendal Ozzel, Clone Commander CC-3636, and several clone troopers. Ventress tracked and ambushed the remaining two Jedi and their team but was unable to kill them, as she was recalled back to the processing facility to recapture Ozzel and the clones, who had managed to escape from Separatist custody.

Ventress pursued the escapees to a Republic staging point and almost decimated all remaining Republic forces stationed there. However, after Koon and Fisto finally managed to destroy the weather-control station, Republic reinforcements arrived, and Ventress was forced to retreat to an agrocite mine, where the enslaved Khormai were being held. The Dark Acolyte then had the mine rigged with explosives with the intention of killing the Khormai if the Republic conquered the mine. Discovering this, the Jedi decided to free the hostages before initiating a full-scale attack and tried to signal Ozzel—who was tasked with leading the assault on the mine—to delay his advance. The Jedi were not able to contact the Major, as the Separatists were jamming all signals, and Ozzel began his attack while the hostages were still in Ventress's custody. During the ensuing fight, Gout revealed the powerful agrocite cannons that he had constructed. Fisto and Clone Captain Sharp were able to destroy them, however, and Koon prevented Ventress from demolishing the mine. The battle was won by the Republic, and the Khormai were liberated, but Ventress managed to escape. (Read more…)

Peppi Bow

"This is Peppi Bow. She was the last person to see them. Padmé sent her here to safety."
―Captain Gregar Typho — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
Peppi Bow was a female Gungan shaak herder living on Naboo during the final years of the Old Republic. Shortly after the beginning of the Clone Wars, the Gungan's herd became skittish when near Naboo's eastern swamps, in much the same way they had during the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo ten years prior. Bow, concerned that the planet may be facing another invasion, contacted the leader of the Gungans, Boss Rugor Nass, who brought her before the Naboo Royal Advisory Council. Bow explained to the Naboo Queen Neeyutnee that she feared battle droids had returned to Naboo—fears that were dismissed by much of the council. She was later vindicated when a patrol of the Royal Naboo Security Forces intercepted a squad of Confederacy of Independent Systems droids.

Bow returned to her herd, most of which would later be killed after drinking from a river just outside of Naboo's capital of Theed. She learned from Naboo politicians Padmé Amidala and Jar Jar Binks that her animals were the victims of a Confederate biological weapon that had contaminated the river. Bow aided the two in locating the weapon's source, and after Amidala and Binks were captured by Confederate forces, she aided Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano in locating the politicians. Bow and Tano discovered that they were being held in a secret Trade Federation laboratory beneath the eastern swamps—the same laboratory where the bioweapon was developed. While Tano and Republic forces assaulted the lab, Bow waited in the swamp above to prevent any Confederate forces from escaping the battle. At the end of the raid, Doctor Nuvo Vindi, who was responsible for the bioweapon and the capture of Amidala and Binks, attempted to flee Republic forces, but was stopped by Peppi Bow after she tackled and incapacitated him. Mandalore Defense Resolution

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on May 16, 2010)

Mandalore Defense Initiative
"Let us commit our military might to defending the Mandalorian people."
"Defending? You mean to occupy our home! You would trample our right to self-determination."
"We mean to save your people."
―Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and Duchess Satine Kryze
During the Clone Wars, a resolution for a military occupation of the Outer Rim world of Mandalore was introduced to and voted upon by the Senate of the Galactic Republic. The initiative was proposed in response a sudden increase of violence on Mandalore instigated by the Death Watch movement. Death Watch leader Pre Vizsla orchestrated the attacks on Mandalore in order to destabilize the peaceful New Mandalorian government led by the pacifist Mandalorian Duchess Satine Kryze. Backed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Vizsla was able to create the impression that Death Watch was a significant threat to both Mandalore and the Republic as a whole. This, in addition to rumors that Kryze herself was working alongside the Confederacy, prompted the Senate to call a vote on whether or not to send the Republic's Grand Army to Mandalore to restore order.

Kryze, who desperately wished for Mandalore to stay neutral in the Clone Wars, resisted the idea of an occupying force from the Republic's clone army, as she believed it would push the Mandalorian people into the arms of the Death Watch insurgency. Vizsla and the Confederate Head of State Count Dooku also shared this belief and attempted to prevent Kryze from making an appeal against the initiative to the Senate. Although their attacks on the Duchess failed, Kryze's appeal to the Senate was derailed by a holographic testimony from Mandalore's Deputy Minister Jerec, which indicated that the world was in need of Republic protection from the Death Watch. As a result of the testimony and another attempt on Kryze's life, the Senate accelerated the vote on the initiative and approved it. Jerec's testimony was later found to have been doctored, and the true recording was presented to the Senate just before the Republic peace-keeping force was dispatched to Mandalore. In light of the new evidence, the Senate voted to rescind its earlier approval of the occupation, killing the initiative. (Read more…)

Convention of Civilized Systems/Legends

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on June 13, 2010)

"It is obvious these creatures are not covered by the Convention of Civilized Systems. The Jedi Council has no say in the matter."
―Chairman Chi Cho, on the Talz
The Convention of Civilized Systems was a bill of rights movement that had been ratified by the Galactic Republic by the time of the Clone Wars. It was put into effect to apply better methods of determining a species' sentience, and it additionally granted the rights of sentient Republic citizens to those who were deemed to deserve them. The decree provided various tests to ascertain sentience, and amendments to the act expanded its coverage to species in multiple star systems that appeared incapable of interstellar travel. However, the bill of rights itself increased genocidal crimes against previously undocumented sentient species, as some individuals drove species to extinction and then covered up the massacres so as not to be prosecuted by the Republic. Besides these illicit genocides, another example of a failure of the law act's enforcement occurred when Chairman Chi Cho of the Pantoran Assembly declared war on the Talz tribe that had colonized the ice world Orto Plutonia, intent on discrediting their claim to Orto Plutonia and restoring that of the planet's moon, Pantora. The fiasco ended when Senator Riyo Chuchi negotiated a peace agreement with the Talz, who were in fact sentient despite Cho's claims that they were not covered by the Convention of Civilized Systems. First Battle of Saleucami

(Taken to FA by Dark Lord Trayus on June 13, 2010)

First Battle of Saleucami
"It's time somebody finally put an end to that monster."
―Anakin Skywalker, on General Grievous
During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a battle occurred between the two factions on and in orbit of the Outer Rim world Saleucami. The conflict was the result of the capture and torture of Jedi High Council member Eeth Koth at the hands of the Confederate Supreme Commander, General Grievous. With the Jedi Master as his captive, Grievous sent a transmission to the remainder of the Council on Coruscant in which he brutally tortured Koth to express his hatred for the Jedi Order. Unbeknownst to the cyborg General, Koth used discreet hand signals to inform the Council of his location. Using the information provided by Koth, Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Adi Gallia, as well as Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, organized an assault force to engage the Confederacy at Saleucami, rescue Koth, and capture General Grievous.

Kenobi was the first of the Jedi to arrive at Saleucami and engaged Grievous's forces with a fleet of Star Destroyers and nimble Consular-class frigates under the command of Admiral Wullf Yularen. Early in the battle, Kenobi's light cruiser was caught in a tractor beam from Grievous's Separatist destroyer and was boarded by battle droid forces and the cyborg General himself. While Grievous was dueling Kenobi aboard the cruiser, Skywalker and Gallia entered the battle and infiltrated the General's destroyer to rescue Eeth Koth. Despite Grievous's preparations for such an occurrence, the two Jedi were successful in freeing the captive Master and getting him off the ship. Meanwhile, Grievous, understanding that Kenobi had the upper hand in their duel, retreated to his destroyer and led his battle droids onto a landing craft bound for Saleucami's surface. During the descent, the craft collided with debris from the battle, forcing Grievous to flee the doomed vessel in an escape pod.

While Skywalker continued the battle in orbit, Kenobi led a force of clone troopers to the planet's surface to hunt down Grievous. The cyborg General evaded and fled from the Republic forces, hoping to reach an escape pod with a functioning transmitter in order to call for an evacuation transport. During the search for Grievous, Clone Captain CT-7567 was seriously injured, necessitating aid from local farmer Cut Lawquane, a clone who had deserted the Grand Army of the Republic. During the Captain's stay at Lawquane's farm, droid commandos that had previously escaped the doomed landing craft attacked the farm homestead and were repelled by CT-7567 and the former trooper. Meanwhile, Kenobi caught up with and engaged Grievous, who fled the battle once a Sheathipede-class shuttle arrived to ferry him away. (Read more…)

(Taken to FA by QuiGonJinn on October 6, 2010)

Zygerrian2
"Zygerrians? Are they Separatists too?"
"Worse. They are the most notorious slave traders in the galaxy."
―Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker
The Zygerrians were a sentient species of red-haired Near-Humans native of the planet Zygerria. Members of the species were medium-sized, standing 1.7 meters tall on average and weighing around sixty kilograms. The Zygerrians were distinguished by their pointed ears and a number of bony spurs on their face. The species was well-known for its long history of violence, war, and slavery, which they viewed as a natural order of life. This contributed to the fact that the Zygerrians were regarded somewhat primitive, but at the same time feared across the galaxy. The founders of the Zygerrian Slavers Guild, the Zygerrians conducted slaving operations in the Outer Rim Territories for centuries before the Clone Wars. At one point, the species was crushed by the Jedi Order, but they eventually recovered.

During the Clone Wars, the Zygerrians allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems led by Count Dooku in hopes of expanding their slaver empire. The Confederacy supplied them with the captured Togruta population of the planet Kiros, whom the Zygerrians hoped to sell at an auction. However, misunderstandings between Dooku and the Zygerrian Queen Miraj Scintel led to Scintel's death, while the Togruta were rescued by the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Zygerrian slaving business thrived, since slavery was permitted by the Imperial Decree A-SL-4557.607.232. The Zygerrians kept close ties with the Empire, supplying it with slaves and receiving discounts on slaver permits in exchange. Due to the nature of their business, though, the Zygerrians also became targets for Rebel privateers, bounty hunters and other spacers. (Read more…)

Teckla2
"What has happened to democracy…and why doesn't anyone seem to care?"
"Well, you do. Forgive me, my lady, umm…you're not like most politicians."
―Padmé Amidala and Teckla Minnau
Teckla Minnau was a Human female who served as a handmaiden to such Naboo politicians as Senator Padmé Amidala and Queen Kylantha. Born in the city of Parrlay, Minnau attended a private school in Naboo's capital, Theed, with her half-sister, Nandi. When the Trade Federation invaded the planet and attacked Theed in 32 BBY, Minnau fled from the capital and waited out the invasion at a marsh village. Minnau and Nandi later entered into service to Senator Amidala, and in 22 BBY, they managed her family's Lake Country residence of Varykino. At the dawn of the Clone Wars later that year, Minnau was sent to Coruscant's Naboo Embassy, where she worked with Amidala's staff. While raising children in the difficulties of wartime, Minnau helped Amidala by encouraging her in her career in the Republic Senate, and she also assisted in concealing her Senator's pregnancy. Upon Amidala's death and the establishment of the New Order in 19 BBY, Minnau returned to Naboo, married a writer, and became one of Queen Kylantha's aides. (Read more…)

"*cough* Silly old n-nursemaid. It's *hack* not as bad as it l-looks…Besides, when I tell my l-little tale *kaff* it's you who'll be excited."
―A 2-1B surgical droid and Sergeant Marrt, to Kit Fisto
"Marrt" was the nickname of a clone trooper sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic's 182nd Legion. Around 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars, Marrt and a squad of three clone troopersChatter, Recon, and Knuckles—were sent to the planet Belgaroth on a reconnaissance mission to check a local Republic factory suspected of selling arms to the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Republic's enemy in the war. The factory was operated by Czerka, a corporation specializing in weaponry. Once on Belgaroth, Marrt discovered that the head of the facility, Tarin, was secretly dealing with representative Reep Tonith of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, which was connected to the Confederacy.

During the course of the mission, Marrt's entire squad was killed by a droidbreaker, a creature indigenous to Belgaroth. The Sergeant, however, managed to take Tarin into custody, obtained valuable evidence from the facility, and then burned it to the ground. Weeks later, while he was recovering on Sacorria from the injuries he had sustained on Belgaroth, Marrt requested a Jedi Order representative to come visit him in his medical facility. When Jedi Master Kit Fisto and Padawan Ahsoka Tano arrived at the facility, Marrt handed them the evidence that he had extracted from the Czerka factory, an act that helped Fisto expose two senators who had been profiting from deals with the Confederacy. "I need you to convince the Senate, or the Jedi Council, or whoever is in charge of this terrible war that we are threatened."
―Queen Neeyutnee, to Padmé Amidala
Queen Neeyutnee was a Human female politician who ruled as the Monarch of Naboo during the tumultuous time of the Clone Wars. Elected in 21 BBY as the successor to Queen Jamillia, the very young but mature Neeyutnee became closely involved with the Naboo Royal Advisory Council, the Royal Security Forces, and Boss Rugor Nass of the Gungans. Not long after ascending to the throne, Neeyutnee was faced with a subtle Trade Federation incursion on her homeworld when a Separatist battle droid patrol was found in Naboo's grasslands. She worked swiftly with Captain Gregar Typho and Senator Padmé Amidala to uncover the nature of the threat, and Amidala's following investigations resulted in the discovery and eradication of a secret Separatist laboratory that had been recreating the Blue Shadow Virus on their world. Neeyutnee only served one term before stepping down as Naboo's monarch, and, by 19 BBY, she had been succeeded by Queen Apailana. (Read more…)

R3-S6

(Taken to FA by JangFett on July 4, 2011)

R3S6-SWE

R3-S6 was a masculine programmed R3-series astromech droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton on the planet Nubia around the time of the Clone Wars. On his homeworld, R3-S6 was stolen by a group of agents hired by the Confederate General Grievous. They took R3-S6 to the planet Milagro where the astromech droid underwent reprogramming to become a spy for Grievous. The reprogrammed R3-S6 was sold to the Galactic Republic to become Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker's new astromech droid, as a replacement droid for R2-D2, Skywalker's previous astromech droid. R3-S6 accompanied Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, as the two Jedi searched for Skywalker's previous astromech droid in the remnants of the Battle of Bothawui in Bothawui space. When the group came across a Trandoshan scavenging freighter in the battle aftermath's debris field, R3-S6, Skywalker, and Tano boarded the vessel to find R2-D2.

After the unsuccessful search aboard the freighter, R3-S6 and Skywalker embarked on a new mission to sweep through suspected Confederate space. The operation was thwarted by Grievous, who tracked Skywalker via the Jedi Knight's starfighter homing beacon, though R3-S6 and Skywalker were rescued by the timely arrival of Tano aboard Skywalker's freighter. Inside the ship, R3-S6 and Tano received a transmission from R2-D2, and Skywalker ordered them to track the signal which led the group to Skytop Station, a Confederate listening post. In the station, Skywalker went to find R2-D2, while R3-S6, Tano, and a group of clone troopers left to destroy the station's reactor core. R3-S6 watched as Grievous confronted Tano's group and attacked Tano, though the Padawan retreated with R3-S6 to a storage room. As the Padawan hid from Grievous in the room for some time, Tano spotted R3-S6 conferring with Grievous and found out the droid's true allegiance. The droid soon left Tano, and found Skywalker in the base's hangar, who also found out that R3-S6 was a spy droid. R3-S6 was destroyed when he was hit by flying debris after a brawl with R2-D2 on a catwalk outside the listening post. (Read more…)

"Master, I need your help quickly. I am surrounded."
"You have already lost the battle, child. I've ordered your reinforcements to return."
"No! I will destroy the Jedi. I'll show you!"
"You have failed me for the last time. You are no longer my apprentice. And now, you shall die."
―Asajj Ventress is betrayed by Count Dooku during the Battle of Sullust
The Battle of Sullust took place around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, when the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic clashed in the Sullust system. While a Confederate fleet waged an intense space battle against a Republic flotilla commanded by Admiral Wullf Yularen and Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress personally led the Separatists' starfighters against the Republic task force. Spearheading droid tri-fighter attacks, Ventress destroyed the Resolute, the flagship of Skywalker and Yularen, before moving in to challenge Skywalker and Kenobi in starfighter combat, dealing losses all the while. However, her push for success soon saw interference from her own Master, Count Dooku.

Charged by his Sith Master, the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious, with killing Ventress to prove his true allegiance to his Master, Dooku ordered an attempt on his apprentice's life. After recalling Ventress's reinforcements, Dooku had the tactical droid TJ-912 and her Separatist destroyer directly assault and destroy the Separatist command ship, where Ventress had engaged Skywalker and Kenobi in a lightsaber duel. With the Confederate fleet sustaining heavy damage, Dooku ordered TJ-912 to recall their armada from the system. However, both Ventress and the Jedi escaped from the command ship prior to its annihilation. Presumed to have died in the battle, the betrayed Ventress turned to her people, the Nightsisters of Dathomir, for aid in taking revenge on Dooku. (Read more…)

Philo was a Gran male politician who gained much respect as a senator in the Senate of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, he led a coalition of like-minded senators in opposition to the Enhanced Privacy Invasion Bill that was supported by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Philo determinedly worked with his colleagues—who included prominent senators Bail Prestor Organa, Padmé Amidala, Onaconda Farr, Riyo Chuchi, and Kin Robb—to prevent the legislation from being passed. At a meeting shortly before the vote on the bill was to take place, Philo and his associates were confronted by a group of mercenaries led by the bounty hunter Cad Bane, who took the senators hostage to force Palpatine into releasing the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure from Republic custody. "You shouldn't make speeches like that. It's unpatriotic."
"The only thing I find unpatriotic is your warmongering."
―Senator Deechi and Senator Amidala, conversing during debates over war funding
Mee Deechi was an Umbaran male politician who lived just prior to the dawn of the Galactic Empire. Deechi hailed from the shadowy Umbaran homeworld of Umbara and served the planet as its delegate in the Senate of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars between the Republic and the separatist Confederacy of Independent Systems, Deechi became a strong advocate for the funding and enhancement of the Grand Army of the Republic and a staunch critic of his anti-war colleagues. Around 21 BBY, the Umbaran joined with the pro-war Kaminoan Senator Halle Burtoni to campaign for a bill that would authorize an order for 5,000,000 more clone troopers to join the Grand Army. The two were opposed by Senator Bail Prestor Organa of Alderaan and his anti-war coalition, but they ultimately prevailed, winning the required number of delegate votes to approve the order.

In the immediate aftermath of the vote, Organa's ally, Rodian Senator Onaconda Farr, drafted and proposed a piece of counter-legislation designed to drastically reduce the Republic's military budget and halt the production of clone troopers. Deechi was recognized as an opposition leader during the debates over the budget-reducing legislation, and worked closely with Burtoni to defeat Farr, Organa, and their allies, Senators Padmé Amidala, Mon Mothma, and Representative Lolo Purs. Purs, bitter over Farr's past misdeeds, murdered her Rodian colleague shortly before the vote on the bill, but escaped notice for a number of days. Several members of the legislation's support bloc suspected foul play on Deechi's part due to the political strife between the two, but the Umbaran only held occupational ill will toward the late Senator. When Purs came to suspect that Deechi had information on her involvement in the crime, she ambushed him in his Senate office and fatally stabbed him in the chest. (Read more…)

Ozzel: "I am still in command here and you will do as I say."
Comet: "Spitter, get us out of here."

―Admiral Ozzel, Comet, and Spitter in a commandeered Armored Assault Tank on Khorm
"Comet" was the nickname of a clone trooper corporal who served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Under the command of Jedi Master Plo Koon and Clone Commander Wolffe, Comet was part of the clone trooper squad known as the Wolfpack, a unit in the 104th Battalion. In 21 BBY, Comet participated in the Battle of Khorm, in which he fought against Separatist droid forces as the Clone Army struggled to secure the planet's agrocite deposits from the Khormai Warlord Unger Gout and the Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress. Comet was captured during the battle along with trooper Spitter, Commander Wolffe, and Major Kendal Ozzel. The prisoners later escaped in a commandeered Armored Assault Tank after hot-wiring the control panel of the cell in which they were being held. Later in the battle, Republic troops vanquished the battle droid army, resulting in the seizure of the agrocite deposits of Khorm.

Comet also helped in the rescuing of Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu on the planet Vanqor after the two Jedi had been trapped on the bridge of the downed Venator-class Star Destroyer Endurance. Under the command of Master Koon, General Skywalker, and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, the corporal and a squad of clones helped destroy a Separatist-controlled outpost on the planet Felucia that had recently been supplied with reinforcements by the Separatist General Grievous. Comet also took part in the rescue of a trapped Jedi force on the planet Lola Sayu, and the liberation of a group of kidnapped Togruta colonists from the planet Kiros, who had been taken by Zygerrian slavers to a labor processing plant on Kadavo. "The planet Dorin has been attacked by Grievous. Because of Dorin's orientation between two nearby black holes, we'll need your expert space combat tactics to help guide the command ships and fighter squadrons."
―Plo Koon, to Anakin Skywalker
The Battle of Dorin took place in 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, when General Grievous of the Confederacy of Independent Systems struck at the Kel Dor homeworld of Dorin in retribution for the planet's loyalty to the Galactic Republic. The Separatist invasion also served as a diversion to prevent the Republic from assaulting the Confederacy's new droid foundry on Geonosis, which the Republic had recently discovered. Although the Kel Dors suffered in the defense of their planet and initially began to be overwhelmed by Grievous's battle droid troops, a large Republic fleet under the command of Jedi Generals Plo Koon and Anakin Skywalker, Admiral Wullf Yularen, and Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano arrived to reinforce Dorin. In the subsequent naval engagement, the Jedi and their clone trooper starfighter squadrons were able to turn the tide against the Separatist assault fleet, forcing a Confederate retreat from Dorin. Battle of Malastare Narrows

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on September 21, 2012)

"If I remember my military history, wasn't he vaporized at the Battle of Malastare Narrows?"
―Anakin Skywalker, on Trench — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
The Battle of Malastare Narrows was a naval engagement that took place at the planet Malastare in 34 BBY. After reaching a disagreement with Malastarian Dug companies over fuel allocations, the Corporate Alliance elected to blockade Malastare to force an agreement in their favor. To that end the Alliance Admiral Trench blockaded the Malastare Narrows with a corporate fleet, leading the Dugs to appeal for assistance from Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum of the Galactic Republic. Though publicly demurring to send aid, Valorum feared that the Alliance would triumph if the conflict escalated into a shooting war. Valorum thus equipped Malastare behind-the-scenes with funds for privateer starships, as well as such military "observers" as Captain Wullf Yularen of the Kwymar Sector Fleet to overturn the Alliance's blockade of the Malastare Narrows.

During the ensuing battle between the Alliance and Republic fleets, Trench used his ruthlessly efficient tactics to tear the Republic ships apart, nearly succeeding in eradicating Yularen's forces. Eventually, a task force led by Jedi Master Kep-She was sent to intervene and reinforced the remainder of Yularen's task force, overpowering Trench's flotilla and forcing the Corporate Alliance to retreat from Malastare. Although the vaporization of Trench's flagship led to the presumption of his death, he survived the battle and returned to fight Yularen during the Separatist blockade of Christophsis, over a decade later during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, Atell refused to support Senator Mina Bonteri's bill to open peace negotiations with the Republic. Although the bill passed by a majority in the Parliament, it proved to be unsuccessful once it reached the Republic Senate due to the machinations of the Confederate Head of State, Count Dooku. As the war continued, Atell consented to serve with Separatist Congress Leader Bec Lawise on a Separatist delegation at the first-ever peace conference with the Republic on Mandalore, in which she demanded that the Republic representatives—Senators Padmé Amidala, Bail Prestor Organa, and Mon Mothma—confer political legitimacy on the Confederacy. As with Bonteri's bill for peace, the negotiations on Mandalore failed, thanks in part to an interruption from the former Separatist Lux Bonteri. (Read more…)

Mandalorian Excision

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on October 18, 2012)

"Mandalorian Space was occupied and disarmed, with a caretaker government created from elements of the failed peace movement. The occupation would last for decades, and create a new schism in Mandalorian society."
―Vilnau Teupt
The Mandalorian Excision of 738 BBY was a brief but brutal conflict that saw the devastation of Mandalorian Space at the hands of the Galactic Republic. Following the Republic's enactment of the Ruusan Reformations in 1000 BBY, the Mandalorian people experienced a growth in technological prowess and military power, but they refused to join the Republic due to their traditional warrior ways. Alarmed by the rising threat of the Mandalorians, the Jedi Order organized the Republic's Judicial Forces and Planetary Security Forces in a preemptive strike on Mandalorian Space. The Mandalorians had no hope of winning a war against the Republic and suffered greatly in the resulting battles, with a number of planets including Concord Dawn, Ordo, Fenel, and Mandalore itself crippled by bombardment. The damage lasted for centuries, with entire sections of Mandalorian worlds remaining barren deserts.

Following the Excision, the Republic disarmed and occupied Mandalorian Space, installing a provisional government to oversee sectoral affairs. The Mandalorians preserved their distinctive culture, as well as their resentment of the Republic and the Jedi who had defeated them, while rebuilding the worlds left scarred by the war. The Excision led to the formation of the pacifistic New Mandalorians, who prevailed over the warrior clans in many areas of governmental operation and society, becoming the new rulers of Mandalore. Nevertheless, many unrepentant warriors continued their traditional practices, eventually leading to the formation of such splinter groups as the Death Watch. The schism in ideology ensured that further conflict would ensue, as it did well into the time of the Clone Wars. (Read more…)

"The Calamari system is of great importance to the Republic, King Kolina. But our armies are spread extremely thin right now."
"Then regretfully, without your help, I can no longer guarantee the stability of this region. Farewell."
―Anakin Skywalker and Yos Kolina
Yos Kolina was the eighty-second King of Mon Cala, reigning over the Mon Calamari in support of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. A strong and respected leader, he worked with such advisors as Senator Meena Tills and Captain Gial Ackbar of the Mon Calamari Guard to ensure the well-being of his people, in addition to operating with the Mon Calamari Council. Although the Mon Calamari and their Quarren neighbors always clashed over their differences, Kolina was able to keep the peace thanks to his friendship with the Quarren chieftain, Nossor Ri, with the two leaders dispelling tensions through open discussion and mutual respect. They remained united in their support of the Republic and the Jedi Order, and Kolina even led soldiers from both peoples into battle during his rule over Mon Cala. Around the second year of the war, Kolina found the unity of his kingdom challenged when the Confederacy of Independent Systems began to make advances on the Calamari system.

Kolina petitioned the Republic and the Jedi High Council for aid, but he was shortly thereafter assassinated by Separatist Commander Riff Tamson. Having been integral to his people's peace with the Quarren, Kolina's sudden death left the throne to his young son, Prince Lee-Char. Renouncing Mon Calamari rule, Nossor Ri and the Quarren allied with the Confederacy, resulting in civil war on Mon Cala. "Wolf Leader to Wolfpack—accelerate to attack speed."
―Plo Koon, ordering a squadron of clone Z-95 starfighters into battle
The clone Z-95 starfighter, known more commonly as the clone Z-95 Headhunter or the Headhunter starfighter after its predecessor model, was a single-seater starfighter developed by the Galactic Republic for its clone trooper pilots during the Clone Wars. A variant of the popular Z-95 Headhunter, the clone Z-95 starfighter boasted speed and maneuverability on account of its sleek design. Jointly manufactured by Incom and Subpro Corporations, the Z-95 starfighter was equipped with recessed torpedo launchers and a pair of wingtip laser cannons. The model was specifically customized for the clone trooper pilots of the Republic Navy, who often cross-trained in the Z-95 and another Incom/Subpro product, the heavy-duty ARC-170 starfighter, due to the similarity of both starships' flight controls.

The Republic Navy employed the Z-95 starfighter in several capacities, including escort and starfighter combat against enemy forces from the Navy of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, particularly at the lengthy Battle of Umbara. A number of clone pilots such as Warthog, who flew a Z-95 during an assault on Kadavo, became adept in piloting the Z-95, in addition to other Republic combat craft. Squadrons of Z-95 starfighters also served with High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi's fleet when it was attacked by Confederate General Grievous. (Read more…)

BattleOfDathomir-Massacre
"The time has come at last to take revenge on Asajj Ventress and the witch Mother Talzin. I have learned Ventress has returned to Dathomir. Go there, and wipe the witches out. All of them."
―Count Dooku, to General Grievous
The Battle of Dathomir was an engagement around 21 BBY, the second year of the Clone Wars, that resulted in the annihilation of the Nightsisters of Dathomir. Seeking revenge for a previous assassination attempt concocted by his former agent Asajj Ventress and Mother Talzin of the Nightsisters, Count Dooku sanctioned an invasion of Dathomir to eliminate the entire clan of witches. General Grievous led the Separatist Droid Army's assault, bringing a full fleet from the Confederate Navy to strike at Dathomir. After ordering a bombing run to dislodge the Nightsisters from their fortress, Grievous landed with his battle droid troops and dispatched them to besiege the witches' village. Undeterred, Ventress led her fellow warriors on an offensive against the droids, pushing through the jungles to Grievous's position. After the elder witch Daka resurrected the fallen sisters of the Army of the Dead, Ventress took her undead reinforcements to obliterate a Defoliator Deployment Tank sent in by Grievous, then headed directly for the droid landing site.

Arriving at the Separatist landing craft, Ventress challenged Grievous to single lightsaber combat, naming total victory in the battle as the prize. Although nearly defeated in the ensuing duel, Grievous had his battle droids attack Ventress and her army, with the Nightsister retreating from the battlefield after being injured by blaster fire. Meanwhile, Talzin used voodoo magic to set a plague upon Dooku, who was monitoring the battle from his palace on Serenno, to pressure him into calling off his attack. With Dooku unable to defend himself from Talzin's magic, Grievous was ordered to target Talzin instead of Ventress, and he personally led his troops to the Nightsister village's Hidden Cave. Talzin relinquished her magic before escaping, but Grievous's murder of Daka terminated the spell sustaining the Army of the Dead. Without the aid of their zombie sisters, the remaining Nightsisters were outnumbered and massacred. Only Talzin and Ventress evaded slaughter, with the latter leaving the ravaged Dathomir to pursue a newly foretold destiny. (Read more…)

Warthog
"Great. It's gonna be another one of those planets."
―A world-weary Warthog, upon seeing an Aleena flying a can-cell over Aleen
"Warthog" was the nickname of a veteran clone trooper pilot who served in the Republic Navy's Hunter Squadron during the Clone Wars, often as the wingman to Jedi General Plo Koon. Born on Kamino, Warthog became a skilled starfighter pilot and joined his clone trooper brethren in a number of engagements against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He became good friends with fellow pilot Tracer, who served as the tail gunner for his BTL-B Y-wing starfighter during their service in Hunter Squadron. Warthog piloted his Y-wing during an assault on the planet Gwori around 22 BBY, serving under Jedi Masters Koon and Saesee Tiin to cripple Gwori's Separatist shipyards. Although the mission was a success, Warthog lost Tracer to enemy fire from a Vulture droid starfighter while withdrawing from Gwori. At the First Battle of Felucia, Warthog flew a V-19 Torrent starfighter, working with Koon to provide starfighter cover for a convoy of LAAT/i gunships. Warthog and Koon safely escorted the gunships to the surface of Felucia, where they rescued a Republic battle group that had been overrun by the Separatist Droid Army.

Besides serving in Hunter Squadron, Warthog was often attached to Clone Commander CC-3636's 104th Battalion, providing aerial support or piloting one of the unit's gunships. The latter was the case circa 21 BBY during a supply mission to Aleen, where Warthog ferried 104th troops and relief supplies. Flying a nimble clone Z-95 starfighter, Warthog joined Koon in leading a starfighter assault on a slave processing facility on Kadavo, where a number of Togruta colonists had been enslaved by the Separatist-allied Zygerrian Slave Empire. Warthog and his Wolfpack pilots eliminated the Zygerrians' HH-87 Starhoppers and turbolaser defenses so that Admiral Coburn could retrieve the Togrutas with a light cruiser. (Read more…)

"Droid reinforcements have just arrived. We should break into three groups to divide their defenses. I'll take the left flank; Skywalker, attack the front gate. Ahsoka, you scale the back wall. We'll meet in the middle."
―Plo Koon
The Battle of Felucia occurred around 21 BBY during the Clone Wars, when forces from the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems clashed over control of the planet Felucia. Having been forced into a retreat at the previous First Battle of Felucia, the Republic re-established a presence there thanks to the efforts of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Commander Ahsoka Tano, who led their clone troopers from the Grand Army of the Republic on an offensive into Separatist-held territory. In retaliation, General Grievous supplied one of his outposts on Felucia with reinforcements from the Separatist Droid Army to secure the system for the Confederacy. Responding to the arrival of the battle droid detachment, Skywalker, Tano, and Jedi Master Plo Koon targeted the enemy outpost with a three-pronged assault, each leading a squad of troopers to divide the Separatist defenses.

Supported by heavy artillery tanks situated on an adjacent ridge, the Jedi and clones were able to secure the base from T-series tactical droid TZ-33, eliminating all of the droid forces there. However, Tano was captured during the fighting by a group of Trandoshan hunters, who brought her to the moon Wasskah to be hunted for sport. Skywalker and Koon withdrew from Felucia the following day. (Read more…)

Attack on Obi-Wan Kenobi's fleet

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on February 3, 2013)

CruiserAttack-BFR
"General Grievous, you have defeated me and taken control of my ship. Congratulations. However, if you're watching this message, that means I'm boarding an escape pod and will soon be safely away from the ship—which is about to self-destruct."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi, in a holographic transmission left for General Grievous
General Grievous of the Confederacy of Independent Systems attacked a Republic Navy fleet under the command of his longtime enemy, High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, around the third year of the Clone Wars. Launching a surprise assault on Kenobi's three-cruiser fleet in space, Grievous's armada gained a swift advantage, with the Confederate Navy battleships and droid starfighters summarily eliminating the Republic Star Destroyers and their outmatched starfighter squadrons. When Grievous arrived with a boarding party of battle droids aboard the Star Destroyer Negotiator, Kenobi mounted a defense of his flagship's main hangar with Marshal Commander CC-2224, nicknamed "Cody," and their clone troopers from the 212th Attack Battalion. Yet Kenobi was unable to defeat Grievous in lightsaber combat and ordered all troop personnel to evacuate from the Negotiator, which he conceded to Grievous's control.

Before jettisoning from the Negotiator aboard escape pods with Commander Cody and their men, Kenobi activated his crippled flagship's self-destruct sequence, forcing Grievous to abandon the ship aboard a shuttle before he could plunder the military intelligence stored in its computer databanks. The destruction of Kenobi's fleet prevented him from sending Cody to aid Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, who had been captured by Captain Hondo Ohnaka and his pirates while overseeing a training mission with a class of Jedi Initiates. Separatist Senate/Legends

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on February 9, 2013)

SeparatistSenate-HOBS
"Your friend is a Separatist? One of Dooku's pawns?"
"The Separatists used to be a part of the Republic. I was close with many of the senators who left. I may not agree with them, but they're more than pawns."
―Ahsoka Tano and Padmé Amidala, on Senator Mina Bonteri of the Separatist Parliament
The Separatist Parliament, also known as the Separatist Senate or the Separatist Congress, was the civilian legislature that governed the Confederacy of Independent Systems, representing thousands of its member worlds during the Clone Wars. When the charismatic Count Dooku founded the Confederacy in 24 BBY, the swathes of sectors and star systems seceding from the Galactic Republic formed their own congressional assembly to oversee the Separatist state. A number of the appointed delegates, having served as members of the Republic Senate prior to their secession, continued to represent their constituents in the Confederacy. Operating by a bill of rights known as the By-Laws of Independent Systems, the Parliament was headed by the Confederate Head of State, Dooku, as well as by Separatist Congress Leader Bec Lawise. It became headquartered on the Separatist capital of Raxus, where sessions were held in the Separatist Senate Building.

Although the representative voices of the Parliament gained a role in state matters, they were often rendered ineffective by various elements of the Separatist hierarchy. Governmental decisions were also made by the corporate interests on the Separatist Council, and Dooku himself—who was secretly the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Tyranus—manipulated situations to ensure that pan-galactic war continued for the purposes of the Sith. At times maneuvers on the part of other war-profiteering parties negated legislation enacted by the Parliament, whose members were seen by some as pawns of Dooku. Furthermore, the senators of the Parliament as well as the citizens of the Confederacy were repeatedly shielded from front-line reports of brutal campaigns waged by such commanders of the Separatist Droid Army as General Grievous. Ultimately, the Confederacy was regarded more as a movement instead of a centralized government, in spite of the Parliament's involvement in public affairs.

A wide range of views comprised the Parliament, leading to a division of positions about escalating the war effort against the Republic. Around 21 BBY, after the Clone Wars had been raging for over a year, Senator Mina Bonteri of Onderon, in collaboration with Republic Senator Padmé Amidala, introduced a bill to open peace negotiations with the Republic. Her bill passed in session by a majority, and the Parliament's motion for peace was extended to the Republic Senate. Yet Dooku conspired with a group of war profiteers to ensure that the Republic rejected the offer, culminating with his orchestration of Bonteri's murder and the withdrawal of the proposal. A delegation later represented the Parliament at an unprecedented peace conference with Republic congresspeople on Mandalore, but the talks similarly failed. The Confederacy was dissolved in 19 BBY with the death of Dooku and the execution of the Separatist Council, ending the Clone Wars. (Read more…)

Lux Bonteri

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on March 7, 2013)

LuxBonteriFull-FIN
"But at what cost? It's like you once said—many lives get caught between the Republic and the Separatists."
"I did say that, once. Then after watching your heroics and the selflessness of the Jedi, I do believe the Republic is the right side to be on."
"What do you mean?"
"Dendup has appointed me the new senator of Onderon. I will follow in my mother's footsteps, and I will bring us back to the Republic."
―Ahsoka Tano and Lux Bonteri
Lux Bonteri was a Human male politician and rebel fighter from Onderon during the Clone Wars. Originally loyal to the Galactic Republic, Bonteri's family sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems when Onderon seceded at the war's outset. They moved to the Separatist capital of Raxus after Bonteri's mother, Mina Bonteri, became the senator of Onderon in the Separatist Parliament. Reaching adolescence in a time of war, the idealistic Bonteri hoped, like his mother, for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, though he came to hate the Republic after the death of his father, an officer in the Confederate military, at the hands of clone troopers from the Grand Army of the Republic. Over a year into the war, Bonteri was forced to rethink his views on the Republic and the Jedi Order after meeting a Jedi, Padawan Ahsoka Tano, for the first time. Yet he thereafter lost his mother due to the machinations of Count Dooku, who ordered her death to terminate a peace proposal that she had introduced. Bonteri briefly represented Onderon in the Parliament in his mother's place, but he soon withdrew to seek justice for her assassination.

Renouncing his Confederate ties, the orphaned Bonteri fell in with the Death Watch, a Mandalorian splinter group that shared his desire to kill Dooku. While working to determine Dooku's location for the Death Watch, Bonteri inadvertently involved Tano in his search for justice, which took them from a peace conference on Mandalore to the Death Watch's camp on Carlac. Despite Tano's allegations about the dishonorable conduct of the Death Watch, Bonteri refused to believe her claims until the group's leader, Pre Vizsla, had his charges raze an entire township of Ming Po before his very eyes. Bonteri ceased his involvement with the Death Watch and escaped from Carlac with Tano; though they parted ways, he promised they would meet again soon. Such was the case around 20 BBY, when Tano came to serve as an advisor for the group of rebels that Bonteri had joined to liberate Onderon from King Sanjay Rash's Separatist-backed regime. Coordinating their grass-roots insurgency with rebel leaders Saw and Steela Gerrera, Bonteri worked to free his homeworld by restoring the deposed King Ramsis Dendup to the throne.

After Bonteri and Saw petitioned the Jedi High Council for help, the Republic armed them against King Rash, and Tano was sent—alongside Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Captain Rex—to train the rebel soldiers. After her comrades departed, Tano stayed to aid the rebels, working with Bonteri and his associates to retake the capital city Iziz. On Bonteri's suggestion to win them the support of the civilian populace, the rebels targeted Iziz's main power generator, striking a critical blow to Rash's forces while further becoming public symbols for freedom. Once they rescued Ramsis Dendup from being executed by Rash, Bonteri and his colleagues withdrew from Iziz, making a stand against the Separatist Droid Army in the eastern highlands. Bonteri grew close to Steela and nursed a brief romance with her, but though they won out over Rash's battle droid army, Steela was killed in the fighting. With Onderon's independence restored, Bonteri, having been re-appointed by the reinstated King Dendup as the senator of Onderon, decided to join the Galactic Senate and bring Onderon back into the Republic. "You should be able to walk into the Archives and monitor us without a problem."
"Now that I am a Jedi, I can do that."
―Cad Bane and Cato Parasitti, as the latter disguises herself as Ord Enisence
Cato Parasitti was a Clawdite female bounty hunter from Zolan who operated during the Clone Wars. As a changeling, Parasitti used her natural abilities to make a career as a spy and assassin, charging a massive rate and quickly becoming one of the leaders in her field of work. She employed holographic technology alongside her advanced shape-shifting skills to make her impersonations nearly flawless. A member of the galaxy's criminal underworld, Parasitti frequently worked with the bounty hunter Cad Bane, often subcontracting assignments or hiring assistance for him as needed. On one such endeavor around 22 BBY, Parasitti worked with Bane to steal a Jedi holocron from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, as part of a job from the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious. She adopted the guise of the late Jedi Master Ord Enisence to infiltrate the Jedi Archives, acting as an inside agent to help Bane and his techno-service droid, Todo 360, gain access to the heavily guarded Holocron Vault.

Posing as Enisence and then as Chief Librarian Jocasta Nu, Parasitti was able to neutralize the Temple's security systems so that Bane and Todo 360 could reach the Holocron Vault. When a Jedi Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, uncovered her deception, Parasitti attempted to escape, wielding Nu's lightsaber against Tano. However, Parasitti lacked Nu's superior talents in lightsaber combat, and she was defeated in the ensuing duel. Before being taken away for incarceration, Parasitti offered the Jedi information on Bane's next target: Bolla Ropal, the keeper of the Jedi Order's Kyber memory crystal. By around 21 BBY, she was out of custody and, at one point, visited the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine. (Read more…)

"Sarrish? Sarrish… Wait—what was the Battle of Sarrish?"
"It was one of the Republic's most devastating losses."
"Sarrish… Yes. Yes, I remember now. So many soldiers were dying…"
―Gregor and Meebur Gascon
The Battle of Sarrish, fought on the planet Sarrish between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, took place in 20 BBY during the Outer Rim Sieges of the Clone Wars. Following a Republic victory at Duro, High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Grand Army of the Republic's 212th Attack Battalion pursued Confederate forces to Sarrish, where they staged an assault on the entrenched battle droid infantry from the Separatist Droid Army. With a mountaintop anti-aircraft gun supplying heavy cover fire for the droids on the surface, Kenobi split his clone troopers to fracture the enemy lines. After his LAAT/i gunship was shot down, Marshal Commander CC-2224, nicknamed "Cody," led the soldiers of the 212th's "A" Squad to capture the anti-aircraft gun, using the droids' own artillery against them. Yet the Separatists ultimately routed the Republic forces, inflicting devastating clone trooper casualties. Clone Captain CC-5576-39 went missing in action during the battle, later ending up on the remote planet Abafar. (Read more…)

(Taken to FA by CC7567 on September 7, 2013)

BattleOfCatoNeimoidia-S

A battle took place around 20 BBY, the third year of the Clone Wars, when a Confederate Navy fleet invaded Cato Neimoidia, a Galactic Republic world and major base of the Trade Federation. Despite the planet's ties to the Confederacy of Independent Systems through secret Trade Federation dealings, the Republic authorized a defense of the Neimoidian purse world, with Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, commanding an assault force from the 501st Legion. While a fleet from the Republic Navy held off the Separatist frigates in orbit, Skywalker and Tano breached the enemy aerial defenses with an escort of starfighters, clearing the way for LAAT/i gunships with Clone Captain CT-7567 and his 501st clone troopers aboard. They then moved in to engage the squadrons of droid tri-fighters that the Confederate fleet, which was occupying the Neimoidian bridge cities, deployed.

Both Jedi were separated from their squadron when a swarm of buzz droids disabled Skywalker's starfighter, forcing Tano to stage a mid-air rescue of her Master before his ship crashed. While the 501st Legion continued its efforts to repel the Separatists, Jedi Grand Master Yoda recalled Skywalker and Tano from Cato Neimoidia to investigate a bombing of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. ―Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker, after R3-S6 activates the pair of IG-86 sentinel droids
The Ambush on the Vulture's Claw took place in 22 BBY, the opening year of the Clone Wars, when Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, attempted to recover the astromech droid R2-D2. The astromech droid had gone missing during the previous Battle of Bothawui, so Skywalker and Tano set out aboard the freighter Twilight and ventured to the droid's last known location: Bothawui Prime's asteroid belt. While scouring the asteroid belt, they happened upon the scavenger Gha Nachkt's salvage ship, the Vulture's Claw, and boarded it disguised as peasant customers. Nachkt showed the Jedi to his wares, but after Skywalker's replacement astromech droid, R3-S6—who was secretly a spy for General Grievous of the Confederacy of Independent Systems—activated a pair of IG-86 sentinel droids within the cargo hold, Skywalker and Tano were forced into combat with the deadly assassin droids. After dismantling their assailants, the Jedi left the Vulture's Claw empty-handed, remaining unaware that Nachkt had salvaged R2-D2 and promised the droid to Grievous. (Read more…)

"I told you this was going to happen. We've wasted enough time with those losers."
―Bric, speaking to El-Les about Domino Squad
Bric was a battle-worn Siniteen male bounty hunter whom the Galactic Republic hired to help train clone cadets on the planet Kamino during the Clone Wars. For his assignment, Bric assumed the role of drill sergeant and, along with the Arcona bounty hunter El-Les, also received the rank of Master Chief as he trained squads of clone cadets. Bric personally conditioned the members of Domino Squad, a unit that displayed disobedience. In 22 BBY, toward the end of Domino Squad's training, Bric was disgusted with the five cadets' inability to work together and wanted to reassign them to Tipoca City's Military Complex maintenance crew, where rejected cadets were sent. After Domino Squad failed to pass its final challenge, the clones were given a second chance to retake the test, during which they came together and passed, an accomplishment that impressed the Master Chief. Bric and Domino Squad parted ways after its members became battle-ready clone troopers, though Bric continued working on Kamino until at least circa 20 BBY. (Read more…)

"One, orders. You follow orders. They keep you alive. Two, you're part of a team. We look out for our buddies—I cover your back, you cover mine. And three, an officer rank doesn't give you automatic respect. You earn it. It's not just Skywalker's rank that makes us give him one hundred percent. It's because he treats us with respect, and he puts himself on the line with us."
―CT-7567, to Ahsoka Tano
CT-7567 was a veteran clone trooper captain who led the Grand Army of the Republic's acclaimed 501st Legion during the Clone Wars. Bred and trained on the planet Kamino, CT-7567 entered into Republic service at the Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY. He gained respect from Jedi officers and clone troopers alike as an honorable commander, becoming known as one of the best and toughest clone troopers in the Grand Army. He was even selected for special command training under Advanced Recon Commando Alpha-17, following which he took the nickname "Rex." As the captain of the 501st, Rex served as second-in-command to Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, whose bravery and unorthodoxy in battle he came to share. He was close friends with Marshal Commander Cody, with their relationship mirroring that of their respective Jedi Generals, Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The four of them often received joint assignments to coordinate front-line campaigns against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

At the Battle of Christophsis, Rex became a mentor to Skywalker's newly assigned Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, with whom he forged a strong bond. He also managed to rebound from the following Battle of Teth, an engagement he would never forget due to the near-complete eradication of his 501st unit, Torrent Company. While on a listening post inspection tour with Cody, Rex rallied a small team of rookie soldiers to retake Rishi Station, which they thereafter destroyed to thwart Confederate General Grievous's planned invasion of Kamino. He was soon deployed on tour aboard Skywalker's flagship, the Resolute, and joined Skywalker and Tano in leading 501st offensives at Bothawui, JanFathal, and other flashpoints across the galaxy. He took part in countless campaigns in the galactic theater of war, from the containment of the Blue Shadow Virus on Naboo and the liberation of Ryloth to other hard-won victories like the Battle of Malastare, the Second Battle of Geonosis, and the Battle of Kamino.

Throughout his career, Rex proved to be an effective leader who truly cared for the men under his command, even as he began to doubt his own future—and those of his clone brethren—in the Republic. The Battle of Saleucami of 21 BBY saw him meet the clone deserter Cut Lawquane, whom he came to respect despite their striking differences. His leadership was put to the ultimate test at the Battle of Umbara, when he was forced to unite the 501st Legion under an interim Jedi General, the obstinate and aggressive Pong Krell. Rex did not see eye-to-eye with Krell and found himself having to balance his troops' well-being with Krell's high-casualty plans. When Krell manipulated the 501st into a fatal confrontation with their comrades from the 212th Attack Battalion, Rex realized their general was a traitor to the Republic, and he risked charges of treason to lead his men in arresting Krell. The ordeal refined his hard-line obedience to orders, as he also learned the value of making his own decisions as a soldier.

Rex's unwavering dedication to the Republic kept him on the front lines over the three-year span of the Clone Wars. He aided Skywalker, Tano, and Kenobi in rescuing Togruta colonists from the Zygerrian Slave Empire and, in 20 BBY, offered his soldier's expertise to help the Jedi train local insurgents on Onderon to emancipate their world. In a stark turn of events, he and Skywalker apprehended Tano on Coruscant after she was framed for a bombing of the Jedi Temple, an incident that culminated in her departure from the Jedi Order. In addition, Rex and Skywalker gave pursuit of a longtime comrade, ARC trooper Fives, who had gone rogue after unearthing an anti-Jedi directive that had been bred into all of the Republic's clone troopers. Before Fives could prove his findings to Rex and Skywalker, the Coruscant Guard gunned him down for resisting arrest. By war's end in 19 BBY, Rex ceded his command over the 501st to another officer, Commander Appo, who oversaw the unit into the rise of the Galactic Empire. (Read more…)

"That's Lotho Minor down there. The Junk World. No one comes to Lotho Minor. No one."
"You're right, kid. No one comes to Lotho Minor—not unless they're crazy."
―Brennar and Captain Spikewheel
Lotho Minor, also known as the Junk World, was a ruined planet in the Outer Rim Territories that was the homeworld of the mysterious Junker species. As one of the galaxy's dumping grounds, Lotho Minor's surface was covered with mountains of trash amassed over untold generations, which brought salvage operations to the planet in search of machinery that could still be repurposed. Planets such as Naboo dumped their trash there.

Following his defeat at the Battle of Naboo, with his body shattered, the Sith Lord Darth Maul went into exile in the bowels of Lotho Minor, where he lost his mind. To escape the planet, he sent out a transmission, offering a great sum of credits for capture of himself in hopes of luring a starship that he could escape in. The transmission was intercepted by the droid Captain Spikewheel and her crew of scavenger hopefuls; however, Maul's attempt to flee the planet failed.

The crazed Sith was eventually found by his brother, Savage Opress, over a decade after the former's defeat on Naboo. During the Galactic Civil War, the Duros Akar Duel ruled over a collection of monster droids built from Lotho Minor's scrap and claimed the planet as his own, but his servants turned against him and gained their freedom after encountering the Rebel Alliance droid C-3PO. "Why, you tin-plated traitor!"
―Ahsoka Tano learns 4-A7's true loyalties
4-A7 was a masculine-programmed RA-7 protocol droid and prototype spy droid that served the Confederacy of Independent Systems under Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress during the Clone Wars, a galactic conflict fought between the Confederacy and the Galactic Republic. During the Battle of Teth in 22 BBY, 4-A7 was stationed at a B'omarr Order Monastery, where the Confederacy had placed Rotta, the kidnapped son of the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. After the Republic's Torrent Company defeated the monastery's battle droid defense, Ventress dispatched 4-A7 to greet their enemies. Masquerading as an old caretaker droid, he claimed they had freed him and informed the company's Jedi General, Anakin Skywalker, that Rotta was being kept on the detention level.

After Skywalker and his Jedi Padawan, Commander Ahsoka Tano, rescued the infant from his prison, 4-A7 recorded them placing the screaming Rotta into a backpack. The footage was sent to Separatist Head of State Count Dooku on Tatooine, who used it to make Jabba believe the Republic was responsible for the kidnapping. 4-A7's Separatist loyalties were later uncovered when Tano found him boarding a freighter with several B1 battle droids. Dropping the caretaker act, he ordered the droids to kill Tano to prevent Rotta's rescue, but she quickly managed to destroy the three combat units. Tano turned her weapon against 4-A7, and, while the protocol droid demanded not to be killed, she swiftly decapitated him. (Read more…)

―Obi-Wan Kenobi informs Anakin Skywalker that his ship has been damaged by Asajj Ventress's fanblade fighter
The Ginivex-class fanblade starfighter, also referred to as the Geonosian fanblade starfighter or simply the fanblade fighter, was a model of starfighter manufactured by Huppla Pasa Tisc Shipwrights Collective. It was flown by Sith apprentice and Separatist commander Asajj Ventress during the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic. The ship was equipped with a solar sail, which granted it greater speed and shielding at the cost of allowing other ships' sensors to more easily detect the fighter.

Only six fanblade fighters were made for Ventress, one of which she flew in the Battle of Sullust during the Clone Wars. After destroying the Star Destroyer Resolute with her craft, Ventress engaged the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, although she was forced to crash in the Separatist command ship's hangar. Despite her master, Count Dooku, turning on Ventress and ordering her remaining forces to destroy the flagship, Ventress managed to escape aboard her damaged fanblade fighter before the cruiser's complete destruction. Atrisia was unified by the Atrisian Empire under the leadership of the Kitel Phard Dynasty. The inhabitants of the Atrisi system subsequently held the dynasty in high regard, and the planet was alternatively referred to as "Kitel Phard."

Invincible-Providence
"Fire all forward cannons. Cut off those Republic supply ships. Separate them from their escort cruisers. I smell fear… and it smells good."
―Admiral Trench, aboard the Invincible during the Battle of Christophsis
The Invincible was a Providence-class Dreadnought and capital ship that served in the naval forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars as the flagship of Harch Separatist Admiral Trench. In 22 BBY, the Invincible served as the command ship of the Confederacy's blockade of the planet Christophsis, where it and the blockade were contested by a Galactic Republic task force led by Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. However, the Republic was unsuccessful in its initial attack, as the Invincible bombarded the entire task force and forced them to retreat, thereby giving Trench and his flagship the first victory.

Not long after, however, the Invincible was assaulted once more by Skywalker, who used a prototype stealth ship against it. As a result, after a lengthy battle with the dreadnought, Skywalker, aboard the stealth ship, managed to defeat the Invincible by sending its own tracking torpedoes into its bridge, which resulted in the vessel's destruction.

Later, during the time of the Galactic Empire, the modules that belonged to the Invincible were salvaged by Imperial defector Berch Teller. After acquiring the parts, Teller then supposedly used the dreadnought's modules to construct a downsized version of a Providence-class Dreadnought, but it was later destroyed by Imperial forces near the region known as the Gulf of Tatooine. A Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Defender served as part of the Galactic Republic's naval branch, in the Open Circle Fleet, during the Clone Wars. Under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, the Star Destroyer was incorporated into the Jedi Knight's fleet by the time of 21 BBY. In that year, the Defender and Skywalker's fleet, which also consisted of the Venator-class Star Destroyers Resolute—Skywalker's flagship—and Redeemer, were sent to attack and break through a Confederacy of Independent Systems blockade over the planet Ryloth.

Following their arrival, the Defender and the accompanying Venators were lured into a trap designed by the blockade's commander, Captain Mar Tuuk. Amid the engagement, the Neimoidian Separatist ordered additional reinforcements into the Ryloth system, catching the Republic off guard and forcing the three Venators to retreat to hyperspace, but not before the Redeemer was destroyed. After its escape, the Defender's personnel were evacuated and transferred to the Resolute, as Skywalker planned to assume command over the vessel. Returning to Ryloth, Skywalker, after offering his false surrender to the Confederacy, was able to destroy Tuuk's Lucrehulk-class Battleship by sending the Defender crashing into it, allowing for the Resolute's arrival and the destruction of the remaining Separatist warships. "I wouldn't have believed anyone could escape a Hutt's chains with her life, much less take the Hutt's life instead."
"I wouldn't have, either, until we did it."
―Ransolm Casterfo and Leia Organa, discussing footage of the latter weaponizing the chains of her dancing-girl costume
Dancing-girl costumes were a style of performance costume for female dancers that were also worn by some beings who had been enslaved. They consisted of an ornamented bronzium chest harness on top with varying garments on bottom, such as a lashaa silk skirt with jerba leather boots, and they revealed much of the wearer's skin. During the Clone Wars, the costumes were worn by many Twi'lek women in locations where they were enslaved or performed for other beings, including Nal Hutta and Zygerria.

When Jabba Desilijic Tiure captured Princess Leia Organa at his palace, he forced her to wear a dancing-girl costume and a chain. She strangled him to death with that chain and then exploded his sail barge as she escaped. A holocube recording of Organa killing the Hutt won her the respect of many Niktos, who dubbed her "the Huttslayer." Later in Senator Organa's life, Rinnrivin Di offered her the footage when she investigated his cartel. Di failed to learn from Jabba's fate and he, too, was killed by Organa. (Read more…)

Bestine IV was a water-covered planet located in the Inner Rim Territories' Bestine system. One of the key members of the Galactic Republic by the time of the High Republic Era, it served primarily as an agricultural world, hosting starship manufacturing facilities as well. Bestine was also part of a lommite ore shipping route that connected the planet Eriadu to the Core Worlds. During the rise of the Separatist Alliance, the Separatist leader Count Dooku expressed threats to the security of the lommite shipping route via Bestine to Eriadu's governor, Wilhuff Tarkin.

Bestine IV remained loyal to the Republic during the Clone Wars against the Separatists, hosting a Republic Navy fleet. After the war ended with the Separatists' defeat, the Republic became the Galactic Empire and brutally annexed Bestine. The new government built a naval shipyard on the local island of Jahnae to help quell potential rebellions in the Inner Rim. The new base was unpopular with the locals and forced many, including the merchant Jek Porkins, to leave. During the Galactic Civil War, in 3 ABY, the Rebel Alliance's Twenty-First traveled to Bestine as part of a coordinated rebel effort.

In Bestine IV's Bsellis City, Sergeant Mey Kilrow of the local Bestine Security Force kept a protection deal with the planet's most ruthless gang, the Nova Razors. A warrior visited the neighborhood where the gang operated and attacked its headquarters, defeating the gang leader and many of his thugs. Learning of Kilrow's corruption, the warrior then sought to end it.

Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn hired a crew of bounty hunters led by T'onga to help insurgents on Bestine IV stop an Imperial munitions shipment. The Empire learned of the syndicate's plan, and a team led by the cyborg mercenary Beilert Valance was sent to set a trap for the attackers. The trap was sprung during the attack, and Valance and T'onga, two old allies, found themselves in a confrontation. There, T'onga revealed to Valance that the people the latter was working with the Empire to protect had already been taken or killed.

Angered about being lied to by the Empire, Valance killed the Imperial shipment's shoretrooper security force and had the transport fly into the base on Jahnae, destroying it. Valance used the base's destruction as bait for the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who arrived on the planet to confront the mercenary. The two fought, with Vader ultimately defeating Valance, and TIE/sa bombers bombed the village on Jahnae. Imperial Lieutenant Jyala Haydenn then shot the mercenary, sending him dropping off a cliff. T'onga and her crew then found Valance alive and took him offworld. (Read more…)

Shock-trooper-officer
"Is there a problem?"
―The quartermaster
A shock trooper quartermaster served in the Coruscant Guard of the Galactic Republic's military branch during the Clone Wars. In 19 BBY, following the war's end, the quartermaster and several other shock troopers were stationed on their homeworld of Kamino after the activation of Order 66 by Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. On Kamino, he oversaw numerous situations, such as the transport of a deceased Jedi Master's body through a hangar bay in Tipoca City. Additionally, after the Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire, in which the officer continued his service, the trooper escorted Imperial Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin to Kamino during his planned assessment of the clone army's continued production and service to the Imperial Army.

Afterward, the quartermaster encountered the troopers of Clone Force 99, who assumed that they were going to be reprimanded, and instead ordered them to the Tipoca City Training Facility to be tested in combat proficiency by Tarkin. Not long after their assessment, in which Clone Force 99 refused to comply with Imperial orders, the officer and his troopers were sent to the Clone Force's quarters to retrieve their gear, where they subsequently arrested the female clone Omega and medical droid AZI-3. Once the commandos returned to Kamino, the quartermaster and a team of other shock troopers assisted Tarkin in arresting the rogue troopers. (Read more…)

DaroConceptArt
"You said there was nothing on this planet."
"That data appears to be inaccurate."
―Wrecker and Tech
Daro was a terrestrial planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. It was covered primarily in forests that enveloped its mountainous terrain, and the available galactic information on Daro implied that the planet was uninhabited, housing no settlements or installations. Daro was therefore perfect for housing secrets, and in 19 BBY, the Galactic Empire occupied the planet and established a top-secret military base inside a mountain as part of Project War-Mantle, aiming to replace its clone trooper army with conscripted soldiers. The facility was populated by a team of fifty clone commandos who trained the Empire's next generation of Imperial troopers, the TK stormtrooper.

Early into training his recruits, the clone commando Gregor attempted to leave the base and desert the Empire. While he was caught and imprisoned, he planted a distress beacon outside the facility, and its signal reached the former Clone Captain Rex. Unable to retrieve Gregor himself, Rex instead sent the rogue commandos of Clone Force 99 to Daro. When the squad arrived, they discovered and entered the Empire's facility, freeing Gregor from prison. The clones were detected by Imperial forces, with squads of stormtroopers and commandos trying to stop them. The team eventually departed Daro with the exception of their leader, Hunter, who was captured by the Empire. (Read more…)

"I am with my dear friend Bar the Rotter, and we are already halfway to Balmorra."
―Hondo Ohnaka, Smuggler's Guide
Balmorra was a rocky wasteland factory world located in the Colonies' Balmorra system. It joined the Separatist Alliance during the Clone Wars and housed droid factories for the faction. The Galactic Empire used the factory sites after the war ended, and an Imperial facility there held clone troopers prisoner, siphoning them off to another facility. When transported off Balmorra around 18 BBY, the clone prisoner Howzer and his two remaining troopers were rescued by a strike team of rogue clones.

Later on, the pirate Hondo Ohnaka went to Balmorra with the forger Bar the Rotter to recruit the woman known as the Marquess. In 1 BBY, a Rebel Alliance relay at Balmorra intercepted a communication mentioning top secret Imperial projects, which the rebels were able to partially extract from the relay before a hyperstorm arrived. While the Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry led a campaign that targeted the Kuat Drive Yards in 3 ABY, Alliance General Crix Madine considered Balmorra a possible target should the 61st be successful. "You must face death, Ahsoka. Do not fear it."
―Pav-ti Tano, to her daughter Ahsoka, during her child's first ritual hunt
Pav-ti Tano was a Togruta female from the planet Shili who was the partner of Nak-il Tano and the mother of Ahsoka Tano. Living in a small village, she believed in the traditional ways of her people and wanted to take Ahsoka on her first hunt in 36 BBY, when she was just a baby. Venturing into the forests and hunting a kybuck to teach her daughter about life and death, Pav-ti was able to kill the creature, but a predatory raxshir soon arrived and took Ahsoka.

Pav-ti was distraught, and the village sent several members to search for her missing daughter. That night, Ahsoka returned, riding on the back of the beast, who delivered her back to the village before silently departing. As a relieved Pav-ti and Nak-il comforted their daughter, the village elder Gantika proclaimed that Ahsoka was a Jedi. Later, in 33 BBY, Ahsoka was taken from the family to be trained by the Jedi Order. (Read more…)

"I was under the impression that Darth Maul's homeworld was Iridonia."
"Dathomir is the planet where Maul was raised. Iridonia is where the rest of the males of the species dwell."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu
Iridonia was an arid Mid Rim planet home to the Zabrak species. Wide colonization efforts resulted in some Zabraks considering the worlds they grew up on their homeworlds; however, the subspecies of Zabrak that hailed from Iridonia itself were known as Iridonian Zabraks. During the High Republic Era, the Zabrak pirate Saya Keem lived on the world but ultimately chose to leave to avoid the strict rules she had followed living there.

The world was also the homeworld of several other Zabraks, including Jedi Master Eeth Koth, who served on the Jedi High Council; the bounty hunter Sugi; and Sugi's niece, the bounty hunter Jas Emari. Though Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi mistakenly believed that the Zabrak Darth Maul hailed from Iridonia as well, he instead came from a colony—the Nightbrothers—of the species and had been raised on the planet Dathomir. Ipsium

Ipsium
"It is tremendously valuable when refined. However, in its raw state, the mineral is highly combustible, liked a primed thermal detonator."
―Tech to Omega, on the qualities of ipsium
Ipsium was a highly volatile mineral found on the planet Ipsidon that was combustible in its raw form. It required a specific tool to extract but was incredibly valuable once refined into a fuel source. The mineral was extensively mined by the Techno Union corporation during the Clone Wars, with several areas designated to mining across Ipsidon, while a spaceport served as a thriving hub for the ipsium industry until it was abandoned.

By around 18 BBY, the gang boss Mokko had taken over one of the Techno Union's refineries after the Galactic Empire forced the company out. Mokko continued the operation, selling ipsium to feed his miners while claiming it had degraded and hoarding the true profits and food rations for himself. The gang boss's lies about the ipsium and actual income were discovered by the clone commando mercenaries Clone Force 99 after their job to mine ipsium had gone awry. When the group's shuttle was stolen by the miner Benni Baro, it revealed the theft situation to Mokko's workers. The workers ultimately killed the gang boss, allowing them to take over the operation themselves. By 3 ABY, ipsium was considered valuable on the black market, and the Ashiga Clan syndicate shipped the mineral as cargo. (Read more…)

An arctic and rocky unidentified moon was located in the galaxy. Shortly after the initiation of Order 66 in 19 BBY, the Venator-class Star Destroyer Tribunal, which had been carrying former Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, fell out of hyperspace above the moon after the former Sith apprentice Maul, previously a prisoner on the vessel, destroyed its hyperdrive. Caught in the moon's gravitational field, the Star Destroyer was set on a collision course. Tano and Clone Commander Rex managed to escape before the starship crashed, but the remaining clone troopers aboard were killed.

Around 17 BBY, during the reign of the Galactic Empire, Imperial forces led by the Sith Lord Darth Vader visited the crash site of the Tribunal, where Vader discovered the abandoned lightsaber of his former apprentice. (Read more…)

Dryaxes were a type of huge, humanoid-shaped predator found in the jungles of the planet Wayland. They had glowing red eyes and lupine features. Around 18 BBY, the clones Omega and Crosshair encountered a dryax on Wayland while fleeing from Tantiss Base. The creature roared at them, but then fought a pack of lurca hounds sent from the mountain, allowing the clones to escape.

When Clone Force 99 later traveled to Wayland to rescue Omega from Tantiss Base, the former Imperial Admiral Edmon Rampart, who was aiding the clones, rested against a sleeping dryax in the jungle not realizing it was a creature. The dryax awoke and then chased Clone Force 99 into the jungle before attacking a group of TK stormtroopers who were searching for the clones. (Read more…)

"Your bridge will allow us to freely move weapons and troops across this planet—another victory for the Separatist cause. You lose, Kenobi. And now you and your men will die here, alone on this frozen tundra."
―Grievous on Caliban
Caliban was an Outer Rim moon with a frigid climate. Its snow-covered frozen tundra, mountains, and ravines were home to the Qubey species. In 22 BBY, during the Clone Wars between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic, Caliban was the site of a battle, in which the Separatist General Grievous captured Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and his clone troopers and took the Jedi's lightsaber.

To comply with the Separatists' demands, the Jedi and his forces began rebuilding a lunar ice bridge that Grievous had destroyed during his invasion of the moon. However, with the help of the Qubey, Kenobi reacquired his lightsaber from the cyborg. After the bridge's completion, Kenobi confronted Grievous in a lightsaber duel and used the Force to bury the Separatist in an avalanche. As he and his troopers left the moon on a gunship, the Jedi ordered the destruction of Caliban's lunar ice bridge so their enemies could not benefit from it. (Read more…)

Siege at Onderon

"Perhaps the siege at Onderon has taken a turn for the worse."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi speculates that Saw Gerrera requires aid
The siege at Onderon was a late battle of the Clone Wars fought between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Galactic Republic as part of the Outer Rim Sieges campaign. The battle was waged in 19 BBY for the Inner Rim planet Onderon, which had previously been occupied by the Confederacy until its liberation during the Onderonian Civil War in 20 BBY by the Republic-supported Onderon rebels.

As part of the sieges, the Confederacy attacked Onderon and besieged the planet, returning Onderon to a state of conflict. The battle saw the Onderon rebels—whose ranks included Saw Gerrera, a rebel leader from the still-recent Civil War—once more fight for the Republic. Unfortunately for the rebels, the Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire at the end of the Clone Wars created a new era of conflict on Onderon. (Read more…)

Kamoradon sea dragon

(Taken to FA by Ayrehead02 on January 28, 2025)

Kamoradon-Bestiary
"These large aquatic reptiles are also known as kamoradon sea dragons. They live in the waters of Kamino, where they troll the sea near Tipoca City in search of food."
―From the journal of Ardis San Tekka
Kamoradon sea dragons, shortened as just kamoradons and also known as saberjowls, were large aquatic reptiles native to the oceans of their homeworld Kamino. Six-limbed carnivores, they used their razor-sharp teeth to eat prey such as smaller sea creatures. They had a shell to protect them from predators, although few creatures attacked them, and they laid their nests of eggs in the deepest parts of the ocean to avoid unwanted visitors.

Kamoradons sought food in the waters around Tipoca City on Kamino, and in 19 BBY, the fugitive clones of Clone Force 99 drew the attention of one such creature. The reptile attacked the Kamino tube system that the clones were using to escape the bombardment of the city by the Galactic Empire, causing damage to the tubes that allowed water in. The kamoradon was then deterred by an electric shock when the medical droid AZI-3 re-activated the tunnel's power.

The Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts droids SF-R3 and CAM were sent to witness a kamoradon hatching event on Kamino and located a nest using a submarine. The parent of the nest attacked and chased the submarine, although the droids still witnessed the hatching before the adult kamoradon hurled the submarine back to the surface. SF-R3 and CAM's colleague Ardis San Tekka included an entry on kamoradons in her journal at some point after the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY. (Read more…)

The 187th Battalion was a Grand Army of the Republic infantry battalion of clone troopers that served under the command of Jedi General Mace Windu during the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Windu led the troopers of the 187th during the Battle of Anaxes, an engagement of the Outer Rim Sieges in 19 BBY, during which the Republic's forces sought to defend the vital Anaxes shipyards from the Confederacy or otherwise risk compromising their entire reserve fleet.

The battalion defended the planet Anaxes alongside members of the 212th Attack Battalion, the 501st Legion, and Clone Force 99. The unit was equipped with standard Phase II clone trooper armor with maroon markings. Ultimately, the Republic emerged victorious in the defense of Anaxes. GrievousFrigate
"The Separatist fleet commanded by General Grievous is headed your way."
"Seems like that coward always knows where and when to attack us."
"You're heavily outnumbered, Anakin. I advise retreat."
―Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, prior to the Battle of Bothawui
Grievous's frigate was a Munificent-class star frigate used as the personal flagship of General Grievous in the Confederacy of Independent Systems' naval forces during the Clone Wars between the Confederacy and Galactic Republic. In 22 BBY, when the heavy cruiser Malevolence was lost under his command, Grievous was forced to post his command aboard numerous disposable frigates, using one in a number of engagements and claiming several victories with it. With five other frigates accompanying his own, the general targeted the strategic world Bothawui after capturing the planet Falleen.

Later that year, the frigate fleet moved to capture Bothawui to advance in the Mid Rim. Coming into contention with the fleet of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, Grievous's fleet was unwittingly drawn into a trap set prior to the battle. With deflector shields all angled forward, a tank brigade scattered throughout the asteroid field came out of hiding and out-flanked the frigates, which were destroyed in quick succession, including Grievous's flagship. The general himself escaped aboard his starfighter Soulless One into hyperspace. (Read more…)

"When I heard the Doctor himself, David Tennant, was a fan of Star Wars, I knew I had to find a way to get in contact with him to see if he would perform on The Clone Wars. The result was Huyang…I thought David was perfect for the part and he did not disappoint. He delivered a performance which impressed even the Master himself, George Lucas."
―Dave Filoni
David Tennant (born David John McDonald on April 18, 1971) is a Scottish actor and voice actor. He rose to prominence through appearing in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who as the tenth and fourteenth incarnations of the Doctor. A Star Wars fan since childhood, Tennant was offered the role of the droid Huyang in the fifth season of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars by the series' supervising director and Doctor Who fan Dave Filoni.

Tennant's voice appeared in two episodes which aired in 2012: "A Test of Strength" and "A Necessary Bond." His performance impressed Filoni and Star Wars creator George Lucas, and was also recognized with the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program. Tennant voiced the character again in 2023 for the live-action Disney+ series Ahsoka. As Huyang was portrayed through the use of props, Tennant recorded an early version of the droid's dialogue to allow the other actors to more effectively interact with his character. He returned once more in 2024 for the Disney+ animated series Young Jedi Adventures episode "Nubs's Big Mistake." (Read more…)

Tiplee was a red-skinned Mikkian female Jedi Master who, along with her twin sister, Tiplar, served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Tiplee and her sister were commissioned as Jedi Generals in the Grand Army of the Republic, and the two fought in the Battle of Ringo Vinda in 19 BBY. During the campaign, Tiplar was murdered by clone trooper Tup after a malfunction in the clone's behavioral modification biochip that triggered a premature activation of Clone Protocol 66, a Sith-implanted command that forced clones to kill Jedi as traitors. Tiplee was present at the time and watched her sister die.

The death of Tiplar pushed Tiplee to increase the power of her aggressive tactics. Later in the war, Tiplee was part of the Jedi team investigating the aftermath of a battle between the forces of Maul, leader of the criminal army known as the Shadow Collective, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems on the planet Ord Mantell. Along with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Tiplee led an assault on Vizsla Keep 09, a Mandalorian supply outpost, where Maul was hiding. "Well, I can see things are going splendidly on this front."
―Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, to Commander Cody — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)
Yerbana was a terrestrial planet located in the Savareen sector's Yerbana system within the Outer Rim Territories. During the High Republic Era, in 230 BBY, the planet came to be located within the Occlusion Zone, the region of space controlled by the Nihil marauders surrounded by the impenetrable Stormwall barrier. While the world was in the Occlusion Zone, a Republic Defense Corps station near Yerbana was attacked by Nihil. In 228 BBY, the Stormwall fell, and the Nihil surrendered to the Republic, with worlds formerly within the Occlusion Zone being welcomed back into the Republic if they so chose.

In 19 BBY, during the Outer Rim Sieges of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, a battle was fought on Yerbana between the Grand Army of the Republic and the Separatist Droid Army. The battle resulted in a Republic victory after Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and his 501st Legion came to the aid of fellow Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and the 212th Attack Battalion. Skywalker defeated the Separatists by faking a surrender and drawing out the super tactical droid that was leading the droid forces, enabling the Republic to capture Yerbana. The HoloNet News anchor Dorna Parros reported a story of a KX-series security droid recovering stolen property from raiders on Yerbana in 3 ABY, and author Kitrin Braves briefly covered the Battle of Yerbana in her biography of the Skywalker family, titled Skywalker: A Family at War, no earlier than 35 ABY.
