Kerkoidia was the homeworld of the Kerkoiden species and was located in the Expansion Region.
Description
Kerkoidia was located within a star system in the Kira sector of the Expansion Region of the galaxy.[1] It had a temperate climate, standard gravity, and three moons. Most of the planet was covered in savannahs, where tall grass grew to heights of nearly two meters. These savannahs, as well as jungles and thick swamps, which covered nearly 30% of the planet, and jungles, were inhabited by vicious predators.[3]
History
During the Clone Wars, Kerkoidia was located within Separatist space,[5] despite still being recognized as a member of the Galactic Republic. The planet was conquered by Admiral Kreuge of the Republic shortly after the Battle of Christophsis.[4] Kerkoidia was the homeworld of the Confederate General Whorm Loathsom.
Locations
The headquarters for the Retail Caucus was located on Kerkoidia. The planet's capital was Maldinian City.[3]
Inhabitants
Kerkoidia was the homeworld of the sentient Kerkoiden species, who comprised 99% of the planet's population. Since the planet served as the base of operations for the Retail Caucus, many Kerkoidens became extremely wealthy, and a fledgling aristocracy was born.[3]
