Naboo was the healthy, main sequence yellow star of the Naboo system, sharing its name with the system's third planet.^[3]

Destruction attempt

During the Clone Wars, the Skakoan scientist Kul Teska built a gravitic polarization beam for the Separatists on the planet Behpour. He wanted to demonstrate the power of his superweapon by attempting to destroy the Naboo star. This attempt failed when Senator Padmé Amidala sabotaged a power converter as Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano killed Teska.
