Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

"Zygerrians, you say? No stranger to them am I. Thrived on Outer Rim slave trade for centuries did the Zygerrian civilization. Moved from system to system, abducting primitive beings to enslave for profit—even into the systems of the Republic. When ordered to cease, resist did the Zygerrians. Crushed their empire of bondage did the Jedi. Ruined were these slavers, but refuse they did to change their ways. Into obscurity they fell..."

A conflict erupted between the Jedi and the Zygerrian Slave Empire as part of a larger Outer Rim anti-slavery campaign waged by the Galactic Republic[1] after the Zygerrians did not comply to cease their slaving operations. The Jedi crushed the Zygerrians.

Legacy

"Long before this war, you Jedi destroyed the great Zygerrian Slave Empire. I would kill you now, but Dooku would prefer you alive."

The Zygerrian slaver Darts D'Nar felt great resentment towards the Jedi for this act and took out his frustration on Obi-Wan Kenobi in a duel during the Clone Wars.[3]
