Teeth were an anatomical feature found in many species throughout the galaxy. Teeth were generally found in the mouth, where they were used to chew food before its entry into the digestive system. The Gungan species had large, blunt teeth which enabled them to crack open edible shellfish.[2] Male Twi'leks traditionally filed their teeth into sharp points.[3]
