- "This cheese board showcases the flavors of its host planet–with deviled bulabird eggs and tintolvies plucked fresh from the trees linin' the crystalline cliffs just north of Hanna City–as well as favorite snacks from a number of worlds across the galaxy (all of which are included in this collection). Mix and match what you serve on it and no one will ever get bored of this board."
- ―Strono Tuggs, The Ultimate Cookbook
A Chandrilan Cheese Board was a type of cheese board that showcased the flavors of the Core Worlds planet Chandrila, a world whose inhabitants were famous for putting together high-quality spreads of food. The dish included a variety of components served together on a board, including deviled bulabird eggs, red and green fruits, and tintolives plucked fresh from trees that lined the crystalline cliffs north of Chandrilla's Hanna City. Popular snacks from across the galaxy were also included, such as Lira San Crackers, Hanava Pods, and Ylesian White Worms.[1]
After making a culinary tour of the galaxy[1] between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[2] the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included a recipe for the dish in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook,[1] which was published in 35 ABY.[2] In the book, he encouraged readers to change which components they served on the board so that those eating it would never get tired of the dish.[1]
Behind the scenes
Chandrilan Cheese Board was created as a recipe for the 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak with photography by Ted Thomas. The out-of-universe recipe for the board makes use of four other recipes included in the book, as well as sliced dragonfruit and grapes.[1]

- ↑ 2.0 2.1 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook establishes that the publishing of the in-universe The Ultimate Cookbook and the culinary tour that preceded it occurred following the publishing of The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook and prior to the destruction of Kijimi. It also establishes that The Ultimate Cookbook was published following the Festival of the Ancestors that occurred during that time period. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook further establishes that The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook was published concurrently with the First Order's search for the Resistance base on Batuu, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 34 ABY. In addition, Timelines dates the Festival of the Ancestors and the destruction of Kijimi to 35 ABY, meaning the tour must have taken place between 34 ABY and 35 ABY and The Ultimate Cookbook must have been published in 35 ABY.
