Cup of Gold was a type of salad dish made from a plant with golden kernals native to the Unknown Regions planet of Demir. After a tour of the galaxy[1] between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[2] the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included the recipe for salad in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook,[1] which was published in 35 ABY.[2]

Behind the scenes

Cup of Gold was created as a recipe for the 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. The out-of-universe recipe for the dish makes use of butter, corn, garlic, kosher salt, black pepper, mayonnaise, cotija cheese, cilantro, crema, chili powder and lime.[1]
