Instead of reverting my edit, perhaps look at the two citations that are referenced in the Chad Hilse article and correct the wrong one there instead. Right now, there's an error on the page because of your reversion. -- Sulfur (talk) 21:56, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

Battle of Talus year question
Hi, someday I will create a template for the SWG timeline in order to clarify that. Actually, placing the game between 0 and 3 ABY is a complete nonsense if you played to the game. The game and everything related (books and TGC) are set in 1 ABY, including this battle. For now I use the The Ruins of Dantooine (that is clearly set in 1 ABY) for referencing everywhere but I will change it later. There is a lot to be done, I estimate that less of half of the game content is covered by wookieepedia and I try to improve that. For information, the developers have clearly indicated that the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY is out of the game main timeline. I hope my answer is clear, you may leave the Battle of Talus like that for the moment and I will change all the SWG-related articles at once as soon as possible. Return of the Jedi - Stickers set
I just wanted to suggest that the sticker cards for Return of the Jedi really shouldn't have a separate article. They were a "subset" of the main trading card set and were sold in the same packs. If you want to cite those individual cards I think naming them something like "Sticker #33 - Biker Scout" would be better and a neater solution. What do you think? I was going to redirect that article but then thought I'd check with it's creator first. --JMM (talk) 14:22, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, you can go ahead and redirect. Seems you did more research on the source material in question, so as it seems your research is correct, definitely a redirect is accurate. Thanks! Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 14:47, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

Re:Aks
I removed the "Flying creatures" category from that page because I put the birds category into "Flying creatures" (because most birds, of course, can fly). The "Flightless birds" category was created today, by me, to categorize those known exceptions. Category tree goes like this: Flying creatures > Birds > Flightless birds. Thus, Ak being in Category:Flying creatures is now redundant. SilverSunbird (talk) 06:20, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

Clone General
Do you know much about this topic? I just posted on the Talk page for clone ARC Commander Cards asking about his rank as general...am I remembering correctly that he was a general? I could have sworn that there was one other clone who was a general as well, but perhaps I'm thinking of Cards. If he was, do you know why his rank was changed to commander? I share my thought as to why on his Talk page. Red Heathen (talk) 20:10, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- I forgot to add the refernce link for Cards' previous Wook link as a general, which is here. Red Heathen (talk) 20:32, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- What is the source that mentions clone generals? As for using the past state of his article here, there is no guarantee of a Wookieepedia article necessarily being accurate, as it is a fan edited website. In real life, and in Star Wars, references to commanders doesn't always indicate rank as opposed to just descriptors of commissioned officers who have subordinates. Both in real life, and in Star Wars, there have been instances of such for militaries or militaristic forces that have the rank of commander, as well as ones that don't (for example naval officers with commander rank being referred to as commanders, while lieutenants may also be referred to as such, in the capacity of just having leadership over subordinates). With that tangent about commanders as ranks vs non-ranks, I'm not familiar with that game in question, nor about the details with the rank and file for clone troopers, to be able to tell if Cards was the rank of commander or something else. I asked on Discord, so hopefully someone else here can help. :) Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 20:50, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Posting here as well, after Vergence Scatter's help on Discord, that The Essential Guide to Warfare verifies the Clone Marshal Commander rank is the most senior clone rank. I had personally checked it too, after, and am now confused about the black markings on the armor, which don't adhere to the source material mentioning blue, red, or yellow for officers. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 21:12, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for asking on Discord, and I'll ask on the CWA wiki. They still have Cards listed as a general. You make a great point about Wook being user edited, and I'd be willing to accept that as the answer, except I am pretty sure that I've read something about a clone general years ago, and it easily could have been something about Cards. There's also the fact that regardless of what is published, SW licensing is notorious for not keeping up with established lore-not simply errors, but sometimes losing track of it. A good example regarding clones that I think best reflects this issue is the fact that when TCW was first released...and for about, hmm, at least a year...Cartoon Network had a blurb about Captain Rex that explained why he was a captain and not a commander when other Jedi generals had commanders as their second in charge. It said that Rex had been a commander but had been demoted to captain because of some reason and then explained how Rex was similar to Anakin and spoke his mind, or similar-I think something about mouthing off. I can't remember the exact reason, but there is no longer any record of this anywhere. My point is that there is a decent amount of SW history that hasn't been recorded, and there is no way to get some of it back if it only existed on a website page that didn't get archived. Some of the flash content stuff is now lost even if it was archived, such as CWA. Even if there are books that state one thing, there is usually at least another source that says another. An example is the number of clone commandos in a squad. We can say that the GGAR establishes this amount as four, but there has been at least one exception: Gamma Squad. "Closed Circuits" was published a year and a half after Hard Contact and about a year after GGAR, but IDK how it was treated when it was released nor after the publication of the rest of the Republic Commando novels. I'm sure it came to be considered as noncanon. I wish that Wookieepedia wouldn't have deleted continuity/canonicity issues for articles after the introduction of Legends, but I'm just a nut for trivia and miss little details like that. I have prattled on long enough! Sorry! I'll go post on the CWA wiki a little later tonight and see if anyone can reply with a definite yes or no about General/Commander Cards. =) I hope to hear from you if you get a definite yes or no on Discord. Chall Bekan
Hello, this is Chuck Kallenbach, former playtester and designer of Star Wars CCG cards for Decipher, Inc. I can definitely confirm that I designed and named the card "Chall Bekan" as an anagram for my last name. You may be confused because the article says the card was "named for playtester" when it was actually the designer of the card naming it for himself. Hope that helps.
- Hi Chuck, thanks! It's always a great thing when those who've contributed to the lore also talk to the Wookieepedia community, and confirming the Chall Bekan tuckerization, along with other revealed facts about the CCG lore and names, are very helpful! Greetings, old pal
Hello Hanzo. Dat1899 here. I wanted to send you this message to let you know that I'm alright, and to see how you are getting on. It's been a year. Sorry if I made you worried. I have made a big turnaround in my life for the better, and much has changed. My interest in Star wars, although still great, has significantly diminished, and I have been focusing intensively on high school. That'd be all. And once more, sorry for leaving without informing you. I have no plans to return to Wookieepedia as there's little left for me to do. Perhaps I'll make the occasional edit, but that's highly unlikely. Peace. Dat1899/Ricky--109.175.99.24 08:58, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Dat, it's great to hear from you again. I still really like how much you looked into actors as well as also good attention with individual ships, including identifying the different TCG TIE images with exact film shots. I hope you reach out again on Discord, or the email I had from you is still active. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 16:38, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
Gold Wing in legends identified as Norra Wexley
In the film, it is known that only three starfighters (Solo's Millennium Falcon, Wedge's X-wing, unidentified Y-wing) managed to get into the core of the Death Star II. Since she survived throughout the battle, would it be okay if she is the pilot identified as 'Gold Wing'?
⛧ a mulligan ⛧ 18:32, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
- So, the article is seeming to present that Norra Wexley is the character identified as Gold Wing in Legends. The Gold Wing article doesn't list the character as being confirmed to be in the Return of the Jedi film, whereas it appears Wexley's in the film in canon. From that alone, provided the Gold Wing article isn't just missing information for the character being in the film, if Wexley's indeed the film pilot, then it wouldn't be confirmed to be tied to the Gold Wing character. Note that I'm just going off the Wook articles. I can't confirm if indeed Wexley's piloting the film craft, nor if Gold Wing is possibly in the film and it's not reflected by the article. Jules Walter
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that if you compare a picture of Rennek with one of Jules Walter you'll see it's clearly him. Spectritus (talk) 21:24, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, so a good amount of actor or actress credits unfortunately aren't considered reliable, for factual documentation beyond doubt. As for Jules Walter being a human in the Jabba's Palace scenes documented on set, what if he was only some character not visible in the final cut, hypothetically speaking? Feel free to post on Jules Walter's talk page or post on Forum:Senate Hall, etc for site consensus. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 01:36, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

- In general, on here, what is and is not credible vs original research or fan sites that aren't considered reliable sources is a gray area I individually haven't figured out. The best course of action is posting where I had mentioned, and/or also asking on the Discord channel, etc. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 17:32, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
- The Guardian is a reliable source so I'm sure it's a real picture of him. By the way, did you actually check the book I referenced in his article (if you have it)? I haven't, but I trust that the person who referenced it in Jules Walter's Wikipedia article has read it. Spectritus (talk) 13:05, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oh hi, I might have forgotten to respond. As I said, it is original research to make those types of assertions based on how the actor or actress looks like and comparing it to a character. Also, as for the book, yes, I did look at it. Unfortunately, that book only credits Jules Walter as a "Human Guard" and also doesn't show any picture of Rennek, so thus it by extension also makes no such identification of the exact character played by him. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 14:34, 8 September 2025 (UTC)

Article categories
Hello! How are you? I noticed that you reverted my edits in which I added the Tempest Force members category for the articles about Misik, Irol and Grond. In my opinion, the articles should have that category since all the stormtroopers, scout troopers, AT-ST drivers, navy troopers and Imperial officers on Endor were members of Tempest Force. In Return of the Jedi, Palpatine tells look that an entire legion of the best Imperial troops are guarding the shield generator bunker, referring to Tempest Force. Since he says one legion, that means that Tempest Force is the only Imperial unit on Endor, so Misik, Irol and Grond are also members of Tempest Force. In an article on the official Star Wars website, it is stated that Grond served under Colonel Dyre, who was the leader of Tempest Force. Gligo13 (talk) 10:09, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, as far as I was able to determine, nothing ever necessarily said Tempest Force was the entirety of the Empire's presence on Endor. Note that really it seems the Imperial walkers were obviously Tempest Force, and then it only boils down to a CCG card of a Tempest Force stormtrooper, indicating that one was Tempest Force, and separately Hume Tarl would in time be established as Tempest Force by The Essential Guide to Warfare. Meanwhile, note The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, Vol. III, p. 93 ("Renz, Lieutenant") also establishes the 501st Legion was present on Endor. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 19:04, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
