The moon[2] Nar Shaddaa,[1] located in Hutt Space,[3] contained a seedy bar called Uncle Chesko's,[1] which was a worn-out tapcafe near a freighter port.[4] By sometime during the final years of the Clone Wars,[5] a conflict that lasted from 22 to 19 BBY,[6] the music within Uncle Chesko's attracted the Yuzzum J'ywz'gnk Kchhllbrxcstk Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx, who burst into song and attracted the attention of others in the bar,[1] while the band Evar Orbus and His Galactic Jizz-Wailers was performing at Uncle Chesko's.[4] Due to his delighted surprise at Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx's performance, the eponymous lead musician invited the Yuzzum to join the band.[1]
Behind the scenes
Uncle Chesko's was first indirectly mentioned in 1997's Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition, a supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[7] The bar was first named in "Who's Who in the Max Rebo Band," an article Rich Handley wrote for the sixty-seventh issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine,[1] which was published on April 15, 2003.[8]
