The asyr was a flower with a pleasant scent found on Bothawui,[1] a Mid Rim planet[2] that was the homeworld of the sentient Bothan species.[3] Some Bothan females had "Asyr" as a given name, with "Azira" being an alternate spelling of the name.[1]

The asyr was mentioned in the 2003 reference book Galactic Campaign Guide, written by Peter M. Schweighofer and J.D. Wiker and published by Wizards of the Coast for use with the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[1]
