"(That Joyous Night) I Ate My Mate" was a song performed by Evar Orbus and His Galactic Jizz-Wailers, a band formed[1] during the final years of the Clone Wars,[2] a conflict that lasted from 22 to 19 BBY.[3] At some point before Evar Orbus was killed[1] in 4 ABY,[4] his band made three recordings and a name for themselves with crowd-pleasers such as "(That Joyous Night) I Ate My Mate."[1]

"(That Joyous Night) I Ate My Mate" was introduced in "Who's Who in the Max Rebo Band," an article written by Rich Handley for the sixty-seventh issue of Star Wars Insider magazine,[1] which was published on April 15, 2003.[5]
