"My Hearts Belong to You" was a song performed by Evar Orbus and His Galactic Jizz-Wailers, a band formed[1] in the final years of the Clone Wars[3] of 22 BBY–19 BBY.[4] At some point before Evar Orbus, the band's lead musician, was killed[2] in 4 ABY[5] his band made three recordings and a name for themselves with crowd-pleasers such as "My Hearts Belong to You." After Orbus's death, the Max Rebo Band was formed from the remaining band members,[1] and "My Hearts Belong to You" remained popular with the new band.[2]
Behind the scenes
"My Hearts Belong to You" was introduced in "Who's Who in the Max Rebo Band," an article Rich Handley wrote for the sixty-seventh issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine,[1] which was published on April 15, 2003.[6] 2008's The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia later referred to the song as "My Heart Belongs to You."[2] This article assumes the "My Hearts Belong to You" name from "Who's Who in the Max Rebo Band" is the correct song title.
