Imperial combat drivers
Hello. Please note that Imperial combat driver is a Canon-specific term and therefore images of Legends subject matter should not go into a category depicting the former. Thank you. Imperators II(Talk) 14:57, April 29, 2020 (UTC)
Trash compactor nominations
Hey! For future reference, I believe it would be beneficial for you to know that you can place multiple pages onto a single trash compactor nomination, rather than making 2 separate ones. For example if you look at this, you will hopefully see what I mean --Lewisr (talk) 18:34, May 5, 2020 (UTC)

Recent edits to Jabba Desilijic Tiure/Legends and Valarian/Legends (among possible others) have sentences saying "Lady Valarian tried to make Jabba assassinated". Don't you mean "to have Jabba assassinated"? --Rakhsh (talk) 21:31, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Coronet City Spaceport added a link to a social media post without including a screenshot of the post. Our Sourcing policy mandates the inclusion of a screenshot with all social media post citations. Instructions for doing this can be found on the respective citation template pages. Morn Meebler
Hey, HK. As you seem to be our expert on SWG, I was hoping you could tell me if there is an established gender for Morn Meebler. SonyCite
Judging by your edits, you are fully aware that we have a citation template for Star Wars Galaxies links from the Sony website, yet there are instances (1, 2, 3) where you just copied the template source code and pasted it onto the page when you could just use the template itself to make this job much easier for yourself. Please keep in this in mind for the future and fix any other instances of this in your edits, so that other editors do not have to go over your work to fix them. Thank you. Pooja Naberrie SWG
Hi there! I have a question regarding Star Wars Galaxies, and I've been told you're fairly knowledgeable about the game. The Pooja Naberrie page states that she became a senator in 6 BBY and sources it to SWG, but doesn't clarify how this date was reached. Any chance you can clear up how this information was found? RattsT (talk) 04:23, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- I've looked through the Essential Guide, and it doesn't clarify the issue of the year. Looking through the page history, the information here was added in 2006, over a year before the guide was released. So at the time it was added it was either fanon or meant to come from SWG. I suspect that either Pooja or someone in her quest line perhaps references when she became a senator, which would allow us to narrow down the year. Is it possible that this dialogue can be looked through? RattsT (talk) 00:06, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- I had also asked StarsiderSWG about this, and they were unable to find this info in the game, so it's unlikely that an answer will be found there. Regardless, thank you for your assistance! RattsT (talk) 23:05, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
Four Sages of Dwartii launch date
Hey Hk! I was wondering if you might be able to help me out with something Star Wars Galaxies-related. Basically, I'm just trying to figure out about when the Four Sages of Dwartii Collection was added to the game. Currently, the Wookieepedia pages for Faya and Yanjon claim that they both first appeared in SWG, but unless they were in the game previously, the statue of Faya doesn't seem to have been added until the Nova Orion Station, which released as part of Chapter 8, and the other three statues were included in the Lost Star Destroyer heroic encounter. Basically, I'm just trying to figure out when these updates might have occurred, as if its anytime after May 2005 (when Revenge of the Sith released) then that would mean Faya and Yanjon did not first appear in SWG. As far as I can tell, it seems these updates happened in early 2008, though I'm not sure if you'd happen to know whether that's accurate or not. Thank you so much! Nomination votes
Thank you for reviewing status article nominations on Wookieepedia! Please note, however, that an article you recently reviewed already had the necessary number of user votes. Specifically, FANs need no more than four user votes to pass, a GAN needs no more than two, and CANs can pass with only three user votes. If in doubt, the number of required user votes is displayed on the nomination page itself, just above the "Support" section. User votes above the requirement are not necessary for the article to pass, so such reviews are not directly helping the nomination. Therefore, we encourage users to focus their attention on nominations which do not have enough user votes to pass. This actively helps out the reviewing bodies and means your time is spent reviewing articles that benefit from it. Thanks! UberSoldat93 (talk) 20:34, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
Backup
Thanks for the cleanup on Aurora (Thranta-class corvette). Battle of Talus year question
Hi, I see you edited Battle of Talus to state it was around 1 ABY, citing it to Star Wars Galaxies: The Ruins of Dantooine. As apparently that book doesn't include the battle, though here I'm only basing things off the Wookieepedia articles not listing that book as an appearance for that battle without myself reading that book, what makes that specific event confirmed to be 1 ABY, when I'm otherwise aware that many parts of the game itself can only be ambiguously placed at some point between 0 and 3 ABY, with the Battle of Hoth included? Thanks in advance. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 00:29, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

Events and referencing
Hi Hk, please take note of how referencing should be done here. We generally don't cite individual parts of a video game except for things like The Old Republic and Galaxies due to their sheer size. In addition, the "prev/conc/next" fields should only link events that are relevant to the subject and are to be mentioned in the body, as per the new policy. Hope this makes sense. Star Wars Galaxies update file timestamps
Hi! I've been told you're the resident expert here on Star Wars Galaxies, so I was curious if you might be able to help me with this.
I've been trying to research the prequel music reused in this game, especially in reference to that from Revenge of the Sith, I'm interested in seeing what cues were available before the film came out, which ones were available before the OST came out, and how long after the recording sessions they were added. Unfortunately, the game files from the collection discs don't have all the correct timestamps
I've managed to find the correct timestamps for the base game files (6/3/2003), and for all of the updates up to patch_15 (4/14/2005) via the Star Wars Galaxies: The Total Experience collection . After this all of the timestamps I have are wrong. Star Wars Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures uses 9/27/2006 for all of its files, which obviously isn't helpful. Any patches released after this which I've managed to find on fansites also mostly have the wrong timestamps (ranging from 2006 to 2016)
I was hoping you might have an original game install from the time with all of the original timestamps for the update files, or else you would know where I might be able to look to find them.
Thanks! - Enderdrag64 (talk) 22:32, 10 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick response! There's definitely music files in some of the later updates. If you use a TRE/TOC explorer (such as https://modthegalaxy.com/index.php?threads/sie-3-7.792/) you can view all the music files sorted by which archive they are stored in. Based on that, the following files contain music:
- data_music_00.tre (base game)
- patch_09.tre
- patch_15_00.tre
- patch_17_00.tre
- patch_24_client_00.tre
- patch_25_client_00.tre
- patch_26_client_00.tre
- patch_38_client_00.tre
- patch_41_client_00.tre
- patch_50_client_00.tre
- patch_52_client_00.tre
- patch_54_client_00.tre
- The only three of these files I have proper timestamps for are data_music_00.tre (6/3/2003), patch_09.tre (6/19/2004) and patch_15.tre (4/14/2005). Enderdrag64 (talk) 13:54, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

Kuthard Correspondence
Hello! I noticed on the Behind the scenes section of Kuthard, email correspondence between yourself and Jason Fry is utilized as a reference for the confirmation of Kuthard's location in the Sepan system. However, the rest of the article and infobox cite this information to The Essential Guide to Warfare. Additionally, while the citation does provide direct evidence of said correspondence having taken place (which is not in question), it does not provide evidence of what was said in the correspondence itself, and I cannot find it in Category:E-mail evidence. I was wondering if you either still had access to or knew where I could find evidence of the e-mail discussion's contents, and if that could perhaps be provided to ensure the article is properly cited.
Thank you very much in advance,

Updating status articles
Hey there. I see you've updated some of Wookieepedia's status articles with information provided by Fry, and I have to tell you that it's generally considered good form to first let the original nominators of such articles know about the missing information so that they have a chance of updating the article themselves. Basically, if you notice that an article with a blue Featured, Good, or Comprehensive icon at its upper right corner (next to the Legends banner) is missing information, head to the article's talk page, which indicates which user has last nominated it for status. If the user is active, let them know! Case in point, you've updated the Morr Three article, but it's still missing some information related to that update, and the original nominator, AmazinglyCool, will now have to fully update it anyway. Let me know if you have any questions about this, Imperators II(Talk) 07:05, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

- It should only count as appearing in KOTET (not KOTFE), because even though they were revealed in the DvL rewards blog, Dazh Ranos, Victor's Trailblazer and the other rewards marked with asterisks were not granted when 4.6 came out ("When reviewing the list below, any reward that is noted with * you will receive at the end of the event later this fall."). Admiral Roek
- Hello. Why did you delete all the information from the page if I specified all the sources?
The fact that Admiral Roek was a native of Kuat, that his fleet was one of the most powerful in the Core Worlds and that he had previously commanded the defense of Kuat and that Dirk Harkness was spying on him, etc. is written in Recon & Report: The Journey to Coruscant" — Star Wars Adventure Journal 2 and Recon & Report: The Journey to Coruscant" — The Best of the Star Wars Adventure Journal, Issues 1-4. Roek's fleet
Sources that talk about Roek's fleet:
- "Perhaps the most fortified systems we encountered on our wanderings were in the Corellian and Kuat Sectors. The Imperial Advisors are concerned that their power would evaporate if the Empire lost its ability to construct and repair the navy's starships. Kuat Drive Yard's facilities and Corellian Engineering Corporation's stardocks are viewed as the most likely targets of an imminent sult by a New Republic fleet"
- ―Recon & Report: The Journey to Coruscant" — Star Wars Adventure Journal 2
- "There are at least 15 Imperial Star Destroyers patrolling the Kuat system itself, and 25 patrolling the Corellian system. Numerous smaller vessels — Dreadnaughts, Strike cruisers, and Interdictor cruisers — also patrol these systems. The schedules and routes of TIE fighter patrols are changed daily. Any ships entering or leaving these systems are boarded and thoroughly searched. Recently intercepted transmissions from Coruscant suggest that the Super Star Destroyer Aggressor has been recalled from the Inner Rim with its escort of five more Star Destroyers to help defend the Corellian shipyards."
- ―Recon & Report: The Journey to Coruscant" — Star Wars Adventure Journal 2
- "Admiral Jaeffis is currently in command of the Imperial forces protecting the Corellian shipyards, but it is assumed he will be reporting to the more cunning Admiral Roek when the Aggressor arrives. We were unable to learn who was commanding the Kuat defense fleet, but rumors indicate he is a Kuat native "

Question on how you list SWG appearances
Hi Hk 47. As I'm thinking of getting back into working on more SWG articles, I just wanted to ask how you go about listing SWG appearances, so that there could be a sort of consensus. It seems like it's broken down between Star Wars Galaxies, Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE), and then the other 3 expansions if applicable, correct? I'm wondering how you might handle an article like Mort. He was added with Rage of the Wookiees, but even those without the expansion could bump into him on Talus. Should just the expansion be listed? What about TIE/LN starfighter? You could find them parked on the ground in the base game, as well as post-NGE, and also as part of Jump to Lightspeed, and even in the space portion of Rage of the Wookiees if I'm not mistaken, so should appearances be listed as?:
- Star Wars Galaxies
- Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed
- Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees
- Star Wars Galaxies (post-NGE)
Thanks for your input! StarsiderSWG (talk) 19:05, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

RE: Yorta
I read over the sources you provided and there is nothing that supports that this character and Yorta are one and the same. I believe you have misread the sources which has led you to incorrectly conflate two individuals as one person.
In Rookies: No Turning Back, Raal clearly states "That was my father's ship!" in response to the Star Destroyer destroying his vessel in a previous panel. It is clear that he is worried that the loss of the ship will anger his father, alluding to the idea that he may not have a great relationship with his father. This is further supported by the previous mention of his father in Rookies: Rendezvous when he is at the gaming table. He is not referring to the arrival of the Star Destroyer as being captained by his father.
Pablo's blog further supports this and I believe this is where your confusion lies. The description for Strip 16 clearly follows on from the statement made in the last sentence for Strip 15. Pablo says in Strip 15: "Barezz's call for a surgical strike against Raal's ship shows that he means business and is not about to let these Rebels escape." The next part, in Strip 16, clarifies that it's not Raal's ship, but his father's, that was destroyed: "Or, I guess I should say Raal's father's starship. The nature of their relationship was hinted at during the sabacc game in Rendezvous, and Raal's immediate concerns of being in trouble with dear-old-dad speaks volumes." (Bold mine for emphasis)
It is clearly following on from the statement in the previous sentence, but further clarifies the ownership of the starship that was just destroyed. It appears, however, you believe that Strip 16 mention of "Raal's father's starship" as being the Aggressor, when it is actually referring to Raal's ship that was just destroyed. At no point does it identify the Star Destroyer as being captained by Raal's father. - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 12:19, 9 March 2025 (UTC)

Question about NPCs
Hi there. I've always hoped to explain my process with a detailed writeup. That's something I'd be happy to share later on. In the image you shared, I used to use a more complicated process of modding SWG Emu and modding the IFF files for various NPC trainers in the Guild Hall to replace them with a desired IFF file from the game files. I can explain this process in greater detail if you like. Though this was a slow and complicated process, and I've since used a different process for NPCs like you see here here. Firstly, I've gone about hosting my own SWG server using Oracle VirtualBox. The instructions are long and tedious, but if followed, you can activate a "God Mode" setting and use a spawn command to instantly spawn almost any IFF file you like. You can also warp to various NPCs that are still in the game. For NPCs like this which were long removed from the game, basically I have a house in my personal SWG server with a modded white stage background, I'll use God Mode to spawn the dressed_noble_human_female_02.iff NPC in front of the background, and take a screenshot (then delete the white background in photoshop to make it transparent). Sort of confusing, but when I'm free I'll take some screenshots of the process if you decide to go this route. As an aside, I used to use SWGEmu/SWG Legends for a lot of the work I've done here, but I find hosting your own SWG server on Oracle VirtualBox (as cumbersome as it may be) to be a game changer for this sort of work, because with the God Mode functionality, you can teleport to any location, spawn almost any NPC, Item, creature, give yourself infinite strength/health to run through different quests, plus lots of other functions. This outlines a lot of the commands you get access to with your own host. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. StarsiderSWG (talk) 15:31, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- Another added note. I recommend getting SIE synters if you haven't already. It's a sort of repository where you can search through and download many object files, and you can also search all the STF string files using this as well (which I do if I want to find a specific mention of something throughout the game). StarsiderSWG (talk)
- Of course. What NPCs do you have in mind? I can take screenshots of them. StarsiderSWG (talk) 01:09, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Witches of Dathomir NPCs
Hi there! I noticed uploads for a few Witches of Dathomir NPCs. I am curious about the accuracy of the new images, however, at least as they pertain to how they actually appeared during SWG's live run. From my understanding, the leaked SWG source code basically included everything up to the Witches of Dathomir update, forcing developers of various SWG emulator projects to recreate much of the WoD from scratch. So there is a possibility that some of that content added on current projects may not fully reflect how the content actually appeared during SWG's live run. For instance, this screenshot of Vhaunda was taken from the live servers around December 2010, after the release of Game Update 18.2. I don't believe her appearance was changed before the game's shutdown. I've been mistaken about these things before though! But I thought it was something worth considering.
